(I ended up getting my mate to help me with diamond casino and then got into doing the cayo perico heist, I saw DarkViperAU's speedrun attempts and did basic/how I felt versions of that lol)
So true. For some reason I prefer text, probably because I can search through it quicker but when there's no images its harder.
Like a recent example, I was missing a bunch of collectibles in a game and couldn't figure out what location was where from the wiki and it was without images, so even trickier.
I then had to find a video walkthrough which luckily had the YouTube timestamps meaning I could quickly flick through once I knew I had each one.
I'm on PC and can help in about in hour, also in future reply to giveaway posts for requests or post a post yourself please as less people will see a comment compared to a post.
Where would you promote communities for Lemmy? I dont wanna be the annoying poster posting on other communities that have nothing to do with the game my community is about; which is Dark Souls 3
Also, all the dark souls related communities I could find were pretty much dead looking too and I already posted about it in one of them and I think that's still the most recent post about 3 weeks ago
And my biggest problem here is that my community is a place to post trade requests for items in a game and well, I don't need anything and I've already posted that I'll answer requests for free
I also did a post mentioning the lurkers but also pointing out that they could just be people wanting to help fulfil requests too and 1 person commented saying they were and idk about the other (currently) 13 people :)
I honestly kinda got bored of playing FO4 even with mods because of how I play with needing to do stuff like quests and I guess I'm not a fan of the story as I skip through it a lot lol
However, I did like the look of some greenery mods and so I ended up find a bunch of interiors and exteriors mods and a forest mod, I remember one is the beantown interiors mod and another is 2 mods with a patch Atomic Forest, a mix of Atomic World and A Forest and then I started playing the game without a map and doing stuff from memory without fast travel to try and stumble upon stuff more.
I think I also added a mod that added more random encounters and stuff as well as a bunch of combat related mods which was another reason I probably skipped through the story a lot, I think i had a slow motion mod I also had a mod which was something like "press X to be mean" I cant remember the wording but pressing X just scrolls through all the lines the SS says when you skip lines like "uh, what a dork.." and "I DONT CARE" and several sighs lol
Sorry I couldn't be more specific about the names of these mods but they are still ideas to look into also of course this should all be found on Nexus Mods and also cheat terminal is another required mod just for ease about some things (you can get that one on Nexus or in game I'm pretty sure it's the same on both, someone correct me if I'm wrong..)
Yea, thank you! There were lots of people on r/pumparum for PS4 at least and I saw xbox a couple of times but as I'm on PC I paid attention to that more and well there were usually 1-4 requests each day for PC and many more for PS4
I just made !pumparum and now I have work for the next 2 days, so let's see if something happens as a result for this post and then on Monday I will make another actual post here again saying I made it in case people overlooked this post as well as a little description and will check the link you gave me to see if I can post it there yet, also I will post it on r/DarkSouls3 or something like that assuming r/pumparum is still private at that point.
If you (or anyone else who sees this) has any more ideas like other subs to post it in or communities here or other sites like the one you nust gave me or if there's anyone who wants to help mod the new community, feel free to reply and/or PM me (however PMing works on here lol, I'm assuming it should appear in my inbox and that should hopefully appear in my emails which is how I have set up the notifications for this, which is different to usual as I always use apps for stuff like this and not browsers. Especially considering my emails dont even notify me right away, sometimes they only update like right before I try to go to sleep facepalms)
I was just trying to figure out the modmail thing and it looks like it requires the sub to be open and going to the info and whatever and I dont remember the mods' usernames, r/pumparum is currently privated so everything related to it is gone so I don't think that's an option right now sadly
Also I clicked the link and thats a cool site, but I dont know how it works, "suggest a link" is greyed out and I'm not seeing a menu button or anything just "report a link", "stats for nerds" and all the communities in alphabetical order
