I feel a lot better since going vegan, in my body and in my head, I feel like i live a bit more by my values and it's great. I also think anti-speciesism has been affecting my engagement in actively doing some good in my communities (whether it's about animals, people or else)
But by becoming vegan, I had to overcome the cognitive dissonance that had been with me since I was a child, the very same one created by the agri-food lobbies to separate the product from the animal. And that has brought these two ends of the chain back together, showing that one simply cannot exist without the other. And by getting rid of this cognitive dissonance, I am more exposed to the fact that the majority of the rest of the world continues to kill, torture and so on, I am more sensitive to it for sure
So I'd say both
Did she have some particular inspiration for her monk and robot tale ? Also concerning the "no money system" in this story, did she get her inspiration from real systems or economical theories ?
Hi there ! lucky you, soon released from the little controlling brain device ! For the otp and 2fa, I use ente auth on pc, and keepassXC for strong passwords. For now I have them both on pc and phone (ente auth have sync, but keepassXC is local so you can copy and paste the file from one device to another) while my smartphone is still alive. But i try to reduce progressively the apps on my phone so the transition to dumb phone and pc only is easier.

I mean what really gave the impulse to my desire to dive into this project was the fact that the fantastic solarpunk animation "dear alice" is actually a damn ad for dairy products... that's so dystopic haha, "nonsense trends" is really great wording about this. I had absolute sparks in my eyes when I watch that video, and the product placement made it fake and inauthentic

I mean eventually I'd like to have some really specific subjects/professions or certain community represented in the octasolis project and I won't be able to just... do it out of only me, because i'm just not concerned and people just live their lives and they can tell you tons of little details that really makes the environment and ambiance speak for itself haha

I just got my hands on a great pdf about consideration and facilities for the building's fauna in order to halt the destruction of the habitats of certain target species without compromising the energy efficiency of buildings. How do you think I should share my notes and resources to you ? i'm a bit wary of spam (that's why I don't post too much in the art community, i'm affraid of flooding it)
