Same here. I loved A Knight's Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You so much and I watched it many times a as kid. My then sister in law told me about the news and I didn't believe her until I heard the news on the radio.
There are also a lot of shirts being sold here in Europe that have names of states or cities printed on them (such as California, Los Angeles, New York, etc).
It's a shame they have started selling more and more of that unbranded cheap stuff. They didn't use to do that but it's hard to find quality items now. I guess it started since they started allowing other sellers to sell their stuff on their webshop.
Is it, though? Because if the billionaires had all that money but only themselves and their billionaire friends on team billionaire, how powerful would they actually be (in comparison to, say, now) if they didn't have any non billionaires on their side?
I think they're this powerful right now because there are a lot of non-billionaires who are dumb enough to do whatever they're told by them even if it's not in their own best interest (or the rest of the world's) at all.
None, really. I'd play Mortal Kombat with my much older sibling as a child and also grew up playing games like Diablo and GTA (the old ones). I really liked Carmageddon and Postal, too. TBH what I enjoyed the most about GTA was stealing cars and driving around in them. XD Or blocking traffic with a bunch of cars.
Not sure how it is over there but in The Netherlands in a situation like that it would be difficult to have them leave because you are not allowed to just kick them out without a very good reason (to protect the tenants). So if there are any problems or you changed your mind (at least here) you'd be stuck with them if they refused to leave.
I've seen this pop up on websites a lot lately. Usually it takes a few seconds to load the website but there have been occasions where it seemed to hang as it was stuck on that screen for minutes and I ended up closing my browser tab because the website just wouldn't load.
Is this a (known) issue or is it intended to be like this?
It's like phone books were for phone numbers. A categorised directory that allowed you to easily find the types of websites you were interested in.

Oh damn I completely forgot about this. I was pretty rattled about it at the time.
Such an unnecessary and unlucky way to die, too. He died way too young. Did the parents end up winning the lawsuit?
Would the best alternative still be something like Matrix/Element or is there something new/better out there?
The problem with these things is that it's really hard to convince others to move to a better platform.
I think they meant the latter.
Edit: after giving it some thought...I suppose it could be both. XD

So pretty!

They're using Signal though, not Telegram.
They made some of the C&C games open source a few months ago.
It's Peak.
The moment I saw it I immediately read it as a 3.

You can heat up milk with star anise to make fresh warm anise milk!
Why a boomer of all things? O.O

I think Disco Elysium might be the game you're looking for!
Yeah I'm 36 and can hear them as well. They're so annoying and give me a headache. :-/
