And I think what @sudo wants is decriminalization - that a person who gets arrested for using meth is treated for their addiction rather than go to jail.
I think the US should have a whole "re-scheduling" of drugs, because some of the things on the schedule 1 (worst drugs) are legal in some states (Marijuana), and as safe as alcohol if made properly and taken with care (ecstasy, LSD, Magic Mushrooms). Some even have medical uses (LSD, Marijuana, Magic Mushrooms) that can't be accessed by some people because of being "schedule I". Also, this is the definition of Schedule 1: "no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse." Doesn't that describe alcohol? I'm not saying that alcohol should be outlawed, but I would say if this describes Marijuana, then it also describes alcohol.
Okay, please don't attack me if this is wrong to say, but I wonder sometimes if someone of the people questioning their gender just want to wear / like the things the opposite gender wears / likes without being attacked for it. Like if we just un-gender all the things, some people wouldn't feel "trans" because they can outwardly represent themselves however they want without people judging them. (note: I am in no way trying to illegitimize anyone's trans-ness).
I had a student lose their life like this, and I'm sure if the person wasn't driving such a big vehicle, they would have seen the student in time to stop.

I made a bisexual flag heart by the Aussie flag, and the bronies messaged me and said “we want to put something there but we will move your heart. Is that okay?” Which I thought was nice. Lots of people helping others too! Such a difference from the other place, and it reminds me why I moved to Lemmy.
