And they aren't clear when to use them either, it's kinda cute when they look at you questioningly if they did correctly after formulating a sentence.

Can you add a SEPA number to your post? I have zero interest in handing my account information to some middleman. Or in paying a random middleman, even, for that "service".

Nah, these balls can be lightly squeezed, not just cut off. They can be squeezed lightly for a longer time, making Americans uncomfortable for months, or once in a not so gentle way.

The central banks can do that by selling bonds at a slughtly cheaper price than the US offers for their new bonds, forcing them to offer higher rates, making their debt more expensive.

It's the perfect instrument, if you're willing to pay the price.

I have a question. AI is good at writing middle school essays, and can generate interesting pictures and music. For anything more intricate, it is, in a very obvious manner, so bad that its use is a liability.

So, how many desk jobs at JPMorgan involve writing many middle school level essays? If I mentally wander through the enterprise where I work, there are maybe a percent that would even be able to make use of LLMs to generate essays about obvious stuff, one of the positions being the CEO himself, of course.

Does anybody here see themselves being replaced by the bullshit generators?

I can't second this, fresh my peppermint tea tastes like peppermint, when I let it steep too long it tastes, let's say, leafy and more like spearmint, and leaves a feeling in my mouth like I've chewed on rubber. The freshness is gone, I guess the menthol evaporates. I take two bags, and let it steep for no more than 5 minutes.

I hope my descriptions make sense, taste is hard to describe!

I have one carton of jars, not too big, like maybe a shoebox.

And then there is this bag of jars I absolutely could bring to the recycling container anytime I want, I swear.

Interesting, I thought the N would be stored in the little nodules on the roots? For other legumes you're supposed to cut them of, not pull them out, so that the roots with their nodules remain and release the N during the rotting process. Is this bullshit?

To "fight for your country" has been coopted so many times for wars in far away lands, ideological wars, wars of aggression, that the phrasing alone will make people assume they are being lied to and that somebody is fishing for dumb people to be sent into the meat grinder.

The point is: that goes also for criminals, and prisoners. And yes, it should go for refugees too, even brown skinned ones. Oh, and people on social security. And disabled people.

We did a lot of violating human dignity in the past, that's the reason it's the first article of the constitution. It's a good principle. One that many other constitutions don't have. We can be proud about that.

However I don't think many people grasp the implications of it not being uphold, unless they become a victim themselves, and I believe that a large part of the population does not care or will be favorable towards dignity-violations, especially against the most heinous of criminals, and minorities.
