This is Nvidia doing this, right? I don't see why they wouldn't try and improve the graphics in games when using their graphics cards. DLSS has been criticized as it's continued to improve. If people use it it's because they prefer the graphics with the minimal impact on FPS.

I'm not sure what's in the best interest for super stressed, underpaid, and underappreciated game developers. If this leads to them selling more games because they can run on cheaper hardware then maybe it's great. If it completely distorts some face they worked really hard on then maybe that sucks.
