Most people use a podhosting service like Podbean, iTunes, or Spotify. Sadly, that’s where you need to go for most normies to find you.
That said, there is an open source self-hosting option that ties in with the fediverse called castopod which is really easy to use and looks nice. Iirc they can also tie into other platforms (don’t quote me on that), but I never really needed to when I was hosting mine.
Right, Ohm’s Law says that Voltage / Resistance = Current. 12/120 = 100mA (thus your 90mA).
How hard would it be to cut the cord and socket out and replace them with standard off the shelf parts from the hardware store? You can generally get light cord and a bulb socket for relatively cheap (~$10), provided they fit your existing lamp
Not a parent, but hear really good things about Bluey. Other decent shows for that age range would be Daniel Tiger or even the original Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
Those shows are typically for younger kids , so if looking for something that will appeal to a pre-teen, Reading Rainbow is a classic that can get kids into actually reading books, along with Between the Lions (though that one might be for slightly younger than preteen).
I would also say that the early seasons of Cyberchase are great for math and science concepts and Arthur is a great show all around and has tons of episodes.
Most of these are older shows, but they should be readily available on Internet Archive or YouTube and try to be low stimulation with good role models rather than high stimulation with bad role models.
Wish there was a better text-to-speech engine rather than speech-to-text. I tend to want my computer to speak to me more than I want to speak to my computer.
I have a lot of controllers (Xbox, PS, Switch). I don’t need a Steam Controller, and I doubt I’ll use it to its full extent, but I ultimately wanted to tell Valve that there’s demand for their hardware.
Not like they needed me specifically for that, considering they sold out in an hour… but I didn’t know that until it happened
I’m pretty sure it’ll still work without Steam, you just might not have all the bells and whistles. But according to the site, it can connect to anything with Bluetooth.
Sounds like my earlier theory was right, they’re using the “out of stock” as a way to limit orders. I finally got my order to go through at about 11:10 PDT.
Stuck on the payment screen myself. Scrolling Lenny and pressing “Pay Now” every minute or so.
This is how it was with the OG Steam Deck, too. Took me about 15 minutes of guard dogging to make sure I got one. That was a pretty stressful time, lol
“Your laser printer, which doesn’t use ink, will nag you about buying ink” is a wild sentence.
You must use Windows and bought an HP laser jet, cause I don’t have that problem. Linux + that Brother laser printer everyone has = tech that isn’t garbage.

Or you could remember Ctrl+Shift+N, which also creates a new folder in the current directory
That makes more sense, especially since there are some Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies but no TV show. Thanks 😅

Guess that’s just me.
Can I make it z-any more obvious?

Well yeah, there are only like two gamers in the EU. I’m talking about America, the center of the universe 🦅
(Just kidding, I’m glad yall seem to have more stock/lower demand)

Even if I complete the transaction, a message pops up that says “Your order cannot be completed as the item is out of stock”
My hope is that the payment processor died because of demand, so they marked it as out of stock to try to work through the queue
Edit: this seems to be the case. See my other reply
It’s been too long ago now, but that sounds right
Too late for the Steam Deck
Too early for Steam Machine 2
Just in time for Steam Controller 2
I think it’s funny just how popular this thing is. How may people do you think are trying to buy it vs scalp it? 90:10? 80:20?

Wow, what a complete tool.
