For anyone not wanting to visit the cesspit, this is what an official, verified GOG account replied:

I want to briefly address the discussion as a GOG representative. The Sowilo rune is part of my cultural and historical heritage. As a Pole, I am fully aware of both its history and the sensitivities surrounding it. Its use in this promotion was intended solely as a reference to the sun, which is central to the game being promoted.

What was displayed in several devices as doppelrune is out of our control. ᛋ was displayed as ϟ on several devices. We should pay more attention to checking it on a different systems and devices. I also recognize that placing two such runes next to each other could create an unfortunate association with symbols used by the Nazi regime. This was noticed before distribution, and out of respect for local sensitivities, the material was not sent to the German community.

At the same time, I do not believe that symbols with a history spanning more than a thousand years should be defined solely by their misuse in the modern history. Allowing that would mean accepting that those who corrupted these symbols now own their meaning.

As a Pole, I have every reason to treat this history with seriousness and respect. Precisely because of that, I reject any suggestion that this promotion carried an extremist message. It did not. It was a reference to the historical symbol of the sun, nothing more.

The only way for Labour to govern under first past the post is to appeal to the center.

Unfortunately our country is disgustingly conservative and the right wing have always been far better organised, it probably helps they have the media on side.

Starmer is actually doing a surprisingly ok job. The austerity he's pushing is tedious as fuck but if he weren't keeping an eye on economics we'd be drowning in hysteria about "magic money trees" and labour dragging the country in to debt.

The employment rights bill will be an incredible improvement for working people. I wish it went a lot further but it's a solid start.

Unless labour support electoral reform we are doomed to an eternity of right wing government. Labour only got into power last year because reform split the vote, and very soon the reform and conservatives will merge together again.

Lemmy is fairly small compared to other social media sites so instead of restricting yourself to a handful of communities I'd recommend browsing the "all" feed and just seeing everything.

Keep an eye on the instance each community is hosted on as there's often a social or political bias.

You can then block communities and instances that you aren't interested in or would rather not see.

It's a good concept but it does feel like a forced gimmick a. I would really prefer some regularity in the pieces possibly that's just a quirk of neurodivergence.
