This isn't a sangha, as anonymity is antithetical to one, no way to hold one accountable for right conduct. Actually you would do well to go join an actual sangha. In fact if all your posts are truthful, that would probably be a very good idea. You get away from your supposed abusers and you get to actually practice Buddhism.

https://www.azbuddhisttemple.org/ <- go there. Get help there.

Why post here about it? Go to !fediverse@lemmy.world or something.

On an anonymous forum someone spamming weird pleas, pity-farming and constant trauma-dumping just reads as trolling. Nobody has 0 reason to believe anything you write. If you're in distress, call a help line. If you're assaulted, call the police. You've probably been blocked by half of Lemmy already because even if you're being sincere, there's literally nothing anyone can do to help you. Because again, anonymous forum. The fact that you seem to lack the common sense to understand this is exactly why you get blocked, banned or just ignored.

Lemmy can't help you. Get actual help.

Holy shit the escalation on Lemmy is just insane. Where the fuck did Optional say genocide enablers are good? There's 0 reason to make that claim. He said something mildly critical of certain streak of slacktivism on Lemmy and now he's a genocide supporter.

Do you ever give even the slightest thought to considering if it would be a bit easier to take you seriously if you wasn't so insanely hyperbolic all the fucking time?

Essentially, two glorified memes, using text I provided.

I get that people can have a lot going on, which is why I don't want to nag but it's also not my job to worry about if they are too busy: communicating it is on them. Perpetually saying "soon" is not that.

Also, I didn't issue a command at them, this was specifically a request to which they agreed, for which they get paid.

People are responsible for holding their own boundaries.

Was working at a kitchen as a dish washer. Had this little cart to pick up plates etc. from the restaurant side. Was just returning the cart, fully loaded into the kitchen, to the dish spot and bumped the wheel into something, or it jammed. Tons of plates and food scraps on the floor...

yeah people dogpile a lot. One person disagrees, very often with a snarky strawman and gets upvoted and people take that as a cue that it's what they are supposed to think, instead of actually thinking for themselves (but they're totes above groupthink)

I support it as well. In my country we already have ID verification that goes through banks. I can log into my healthcare system etc. by it.

Just branch out a service to social media sites that answers only one question: Is this person over 18? Yes/No.

They don't need anything else. By extension, this also answers the question if someone is a real person. Which is another thing I think we need on social media. Yes, maintain public anonymity but there needs to be some verification that they are a real person.

(Also, Spokeo got nothing on me, wohoo)

I don't mean harm but this reminds me of the political compass and centrists who just want to grill. Like, if this is your most controversial opinion lol

What, and give up purity testing? That would eliminate 90% of our recreational outrage and give us time and energy to actually do something. Can't have that.
