They are working on an app for Tildes, another forum kind of website. It's called Three Cheers for Tildes! Currently in alpha on android, iOS currently under development.
The best thing about it is that you don't have a history of everyone's posts, you can't go through their profile and pick out something you disagree with and say "ohoho, you obviously are a dumb person for this thing you said in the past" and act like you won the argument

I heard that talklittle (RIF dev) was working on something for tildes, wonder if they're interested in doing so for lemmy! Very exciting :D:D:D
