Because I have my own custom domain internally and don't use tailscale while on I'm on my network physically. But I get the best of both worlds, however I do have Tailscale setup with DNsMasq to set to my domain name anyway instead of using the Tailscale domain
To be honest I found Kbin too confusing, lemmy is a bit less confusing and I'm glad lemmy.ml increased it servers capacity throughout the day, but it was a bit of a mess.
Hopefully the growing pains of lemmy will end soon and we can continue growing the Federation!
My favorite place to live was in Siem Reap during Covid, however it so kind of a qhost town. I miss riding my motorbike zipping past ancient Temples. Great food and great people.
