The game is really good and definitely worth it even at full price. Impeccable atmosphere. Gameplay and pacing is also really good. The game is not that long, I think I finished it in 6 hours, but I enjoyed all of it.
Unreal engine has always been a bloated mess. Unity is a bloated mess of deprecated features and outdated documentation but atleast it's still faster and arguably still a better fit for the average indie game
Garry seems to have a hate boner for Linux for some reason. He's always been a very immature person so there's probably no valid reason for it other than he had a bad experience with it 20 years ago
Bevy is truly the most promising game engine out there right now. I just love its design so much. I've made a couple of simple games in it in the past, but my biggest gripe is the lacking gui options and no editor for scene and asset editing. Both are being worked on last i heard but it'll probably take a few years still before they're released if I had to guess.

Unity corporate is indeed terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get invested in Unity over Godot these days if they're new to game development.
Weird that you're having issues with it though, always worked well on the computers I've owned (both the editor and games using it)

Microsoft 365 admin portal. There's always something that's broken on it or takes a very long time to load for no good reason.
