Huh interesting, this leads me to both ultimate sd upscaler and the tiled vae, think I'll go with usdu as it's results look a bit better to me, but I see people getting high resolutions from resolutions only a bit above 270p, since it upscales the image in tiles so for lower res images you can just use fewer tiles.
