Well alright! it's pretty silly, but I've never bothered to learn nano, despite the key commands being listed right there in the program. BUT I did spend a mario-teaches-typing amount of time learning vim years ago because... masochist, I guess? haha
Glad you like nano, and I'm really not a purist about editors or anything. Actually, a co-worker of mine uses emacs and our company uses slack. If you type the shortcode :vim:, the emacs logo appears, and :emacs: makes the vim logo, because it makes us both laugh, and what editor you use doesn't matter
You're saying there's precedent that indicates the gov't will just "confiscate" peoples savings? Could you elaborate? I'm genuinely interested to know about this, because that's... not good
Of course, this is c/lemmyshitpost, but a friend of mine recently lost her husband, and it turns out this is a real thing called "widow's fire". Some people that lose a spouse experience a wild desire for intimacy as part of their grief.
An old acquaintance who described himself as "A christian, but a bad one" summarized this as "Sure, you can have salvation for your immortal soul! But first... you gotta call me daddy"
Funny, dark. Stuck with me obviously. It's always been about control and secular power
Years ago, a friend of mine once had: "Seeking partner skilled in armed combat for the coming apocalypse. Must not be averse to cannibalism" as their bio.

Anyway, the more you know, I guess.

A friend is staying at our house fur the week, and we're watching their pups during the day. They sing:
Toe beans, toe beans, toe beans toe BEEEeans, you're such a fuzzy pup, toe beans
(Jolene, Dolly Parton)
Just because your comment made me go watch it again YouTube link (Recommend watching with newpipe)
