You realize three times bigger is barely anything right? Also their power per user is significantly higher considering almost everyone who uses it cares for steam but almost nobody cares about their card. If Mastercard tried using their blacklist power people are few more likely to switch card than platform.
They actually edited to bill so it has to go back to the house again to pass there before it’s law. There’s a chance of it failing with how close the first was but it’s still pretty slim.
Yeah but unless there’s consequences when a specific group of people is going around blinding random people without fear of being blinded back, they’re not gonna stop. If an officer shoots an innocent kid and gets off with paid suspension I will cheer the dad on as he gets revenge. That is not what happened here though. This was not revenge at all and was just a heartbroken dad lashing out at innocent people and a kid playing fucking around (stealing a car and running around with a gun) and finding out.
Ugh. On one hand this initially didn’t make me bat an eye but after reading the article:
At the news briefing, officials said the officer, who has not been identified, was retired and working as a special deputy and directing traffic near the school for graduation events.
Like, don’t get me wrong if this was an incident where the kid was wrongfully killed and the officer was then given no punishment and succinctly was the one hit by the car, I’d say eye for an eye.
But like, this dude was just a retired guy volunteering for a graduation event who had nothing to do with it. The situation with the kid himself is also kinda iffy as on one hand they do say he was running away but on the other the kid very much did have a gun and extra ammunition so for all the officers knew he could’ve turned around and shot them or taken someone hostage or anything really. Like yes, acab but the father is definitely way more in the wrong here than the police.
Tried checking r/conservative to see what excuses they make for this one and there wasn’t a single post. Pretty sure their mods are actively deleting this story
I’d argue it’s not really a fallacy in this case when the only reason they claim to be Christian is to get more followers and they actively go against everything their supposed religion teaches.
Actually just saw someone talking about this. Apparently although it looks/seems a little dystopian it is actually crazy effective. Like eliminating entire cell blocks of solitary confinement it works so well effective. I heard quotes from the prisoners along the lines of, “seeing these people just living their everyday lives out here made me want that and feel like I deserved it too”
Don’t think this is true unless you can come up with a source for this. As far as I could find gravity is almost negligible effect wise and they usually stop it manually anyways. The only time I’ve heard of this was in the reacher book where he claimed to have such a well oiled revolver he was able to.
Why would he need to do this? He’d just pardon them at that point and there’s literally no repercussions for him or anyone associated besides the almost impossibility of him being impeached. You can thank the Supreme Court for that.
Considering almost the entirety of the stocks value is tied up in musk and has almost no correlation with the actual success of Tesla and they’ve literally gone out of their way to force a 56 billion pay package through for Musk, I highly doubt it.
Edit: for reference, the company is worth the next 15 car makers prices combined and probably has less sales than all of them
Didn’t this stuff start happening like right after he had that stroke? Or am I misremembering. If so that really tells some things about the Republican Party
Ok? It’s not like this is going to change literally ANYTHING? I’m not past “wouldn’t be surprised if” and honestly expecting him to get a pat on the back and then to continue on in his job.
I’d argue that’s just as good. You’d definitely need to after bbc

I fucking love backpacks with a flap on top instead of a zipper. Ever since my first one senior year of high school I’ve never gone back
Gotta get rainbolt to get that guys location to update the page lol

At least they bother to actually have an ai controlling the interactions unlike Tesla pretending to have ai lmao
It could also mean no print were recovered other than his obviously which they may have just not bothered to mention

Eh if it’s just Vance running, I wouldn’t be too worried. The man has the charisma of a flopping fish
