it will make the system crash. so if the monitoring system only checks whether system A is alive and gives the flag if not - that defeats the challenge. nerdier high schoolers surely know something like that, bc it is fun to crash your friends computer...
those could be dowels. but i doubt it, as they all seem to match the grain. it is most likely a decorative element carved into the wood.
filling them in will be the easy way to remove them. but i know i would not be able to match them convincingly. drawer right top corner has a branch there for example.
hard to say from the picture, whether there is enough material for it. but if you have access to a big enough planer, you could easily remove enough material until the decorations are gone. reworking the edges shouldn't be a problem with a router or molder.
man i would love to play MTG again. but this card is a win condition for 5. all my cards are pretty ok if they give an X/X for X mana. for X+1 mana they usually get an ability that is cool. but nothing i would build a deck around.
AI is churning out low quality products at a high rate. artists i see offer commissions around 20 bucks at a significantly higher quality than AI. while you won't get the mona lisa anywhere for 20 quid, it is about the same price as chat gpt go costs you per month.
usually you don't need the magnum opus of an artist for supporting art. you need good quality, which for an experience artist is achievable in reasonable time and money. support eachother!

while you are absolutely right in saying energy production is an engineering problem, it is not a simple problem. water is for sure more severe, as there is a finite amount fresh water to consume. but especially now, when communities are somehow expected to pay for the increased energy usage of the local datacenter, it seems cynical to me, when you say:

yes agriculture and especially beef is a big problem. however, this does not mean we should ignore the newly emerging problems - just because they are not as big as the biggest problem (yet). i also doubt, that any agricultural business uses as much energy as datacenters.

since radiating heat is the only real way of getting rid of heat, the main solutions are limited size and power combined with insulation. quite opposite to what datacenters do.
