Hmm, I feel like I gotta clear up some misconceptions.

  1. The Hexbear account is not my alt, it’s my main
  2. Hexbear unfortunately does not allow me to define the appropriate number of pronoun forms, I’m limited to 2 pairs of 2
  3. I did not import from Hexbear and my display name is not an “accident”
  4. User tags only notify in comments until 1.0.0 (maybe not a misconception since I’m not sure if that’s even a proper tag as-is, and maybe you weren’t actually intending for me to see the post)

Congrats on figuring it out, I just vagueposted complained in my profile without bothering to try to fix things myself until a cool cat gave me a hand.

Soooo… it still sounds to me like you’re saying that breath from people who burn more fossil fuels has an outsized impact?

I feel like this just proves my point around needing to prioritize who stops.

Some people, by continuing to breath, have an outsized effect compared to others.

Clearly the issue here is just prioritizing who stops breathing.

A lot of the conservation stuff I post isn’t exactly “positive”. This one is definitely more on the positive end, but I’m certainly not trying to downplay the reality that this is the exception and not the norm.

New contaminants are appearing as well. PFAS, the so-called “forever chemicals,” are showing up in Great Lakes fish

Shoreline development eats away at denning sites. Climate change threatens to shift prey distribution and alter seasonal ice cover
