My UE Mega Boom is now roughly 10 years old. I wouldn't dip it under water, cause you wouldn't waterboard your grandpa anymore. But it's still going strong!
I can also resell a physical disc. I can let my friend borrow my physical disc. I can continue to play my physical disc on a new account if mine is banned, corrupted, hacked, whatever. I cannot do those things with a redemption code.
It's just a guess, but I think they'll tie the installation to your account, or remove the game from your account if you lend the disc to someone else.
I am pretty sure that you need an online connections to Rockstars Server to install/activate the installation. Never ever they will let you install/play the Game if you can't connect to the servers. Otherwise you could, as you already said, duplicate the game. Rockstar will try to prevent this. So what's the difference between have the Files on a disk, vs. Download it from their servers if they could just flick the switch at any time and prevent you from starting the game.
Im just using Symphony to play my local files on phone which sync with my server over synchting whenever I add some new tracks. My "Server" is to slow for streaming...
Thats what I fucking did. I took my old, slow ass android phone and installed the auth App on it. But it's pain in the ass if you have to carry it around in your stinky jeans because you might come in a situation where you need it. I can understand everyone who dont want to carry two phones with them every dang time. FUCK!!
When I had enough, I researched how to get the games "cost-efficient". And to my surprise it was very easy, safe and guess what: affordable. Since then I "saved" around 500$ and only spend my money on some Indie Games... Even if the prices should now fall again and become acceptable, the probability that I will buy my games through the conventional way is low.
Install a PiHole and route your whole traffic through it. Its easy to setup, you learn a bit about networking and the impact is massive. Would always recommend to start with a PiHole.
Cmon that's really unfair—putting Addicts on the same level as Google. Google is wayyy worse... Jokes aside. Thanks for being so understanding and making the change :)
Its even worse if they say: "let me ask chatty" Please don't let us start to humanize LLM.

What about a VPN? Maybe this will work.

It's 32 degrees Celsius in my apartment. It can't get any worse.
This meme made me to go outside. Thanks.

Richtig:
[https://aurora-shine.codeberg.page/no-google-track/](https://aurora-shine.codeberg.page/no-google-track)Falsch:[https://aurora-shine.codeberg.page/no-google-track/]()Alternativ:
[NO GOOGLE TRACK](https://aurora-shine.codeberg.page/no-google-track)NO GOOGLE TRACK
Ich hoffe das ist so einigermaßen verständlich :)
