When I was there, they actually had temperature displays at the tap in most pubs that usually showed something around 4°C (~39°F). For reference, that was in the Huddersfield area (between Leeds and Manchester) around 15 years ago.
The FDP very definitely does not want this, and one would be justified in doubting if the top brass of the SPD wants it. Personally, I am inclined to believe they only suggest plans like this knowing full well nothing will come of them in this government constellation.

Da heisst es immer, in Niedersachsen grenzen sich die Landwirte ganz klar von rechten Unterwanderungsversuchen ab - dann sieht man in dem Artikel das Foto von einem LKW mit einem Transparent mit eisernem Kreuz. Zwar die Bundeswehr-Variante, aber die Bedeutung in diesem Kontext ist trotzdem recht klar. Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass das (diese Aktion vor dem Druckzentrum) ein Angriff auf die Pressefreiheit und ein Einschüchterungsversuch gegen unliebsame Presse ist.
