You feel angry. Think about why you need to project your anger onto others. Is it something you naturally do, or do scientific topics tend to stir up resentment in you?

(May I suggest being a bit funnier when rage baiting if thats what youre doing? Can't tell, could also just be a very silly goose)

What the entire fuck kind of money does this guy have that he's willing to take that risk? Everyone here's already given advice I would so im just another voice backing your concern. Yes you can make bank in this industry but its all smoke and mirrors, a total waste of an education

I'll let them know the next time I get through security just fine that some internet stranger thinks they are all fuckwits. I agree they are useless but to just generalize every single TSA employee as a dickhead is definitely a choice

Fun fact, when you're a dickhead to people, they usually respond in turn. Stop being a piece of human shit and they'll be nice too :)

There's two ETFs now for tracking democrat trades and republican trades if you have any interest in tracking this kind of portfolios performance! I don't think there's an ETF for Nancy specifically but she's definitely a part of the dem ETF

I never get tired of Europeans being surprised at the average intelligence here, thank you for making me giggle. The average American is about as smart as a stick, and as we both know, sticks aren't good at geography

"Of course I'm aware of the legal reality of content ownership"

How did you read this sentence then not get the implication he meant 'own a license than can be revoked' when he then used the word own? This is lemmy, everyone knows that implication for digital "ownership"

My girlfriend and I just finally got through DOS:2 and started BG3 this weekend. She stresses THE FUCK out about things like this, because we have to do everything 'right' or close to it. Can I ask in a relatively spoiler free way if it's going to lead to huge negative consequences? Or more so just different than outright negative?

A pandemic is an epidemic (rapidly spreading disease/virus) that's spread to multiple countries, meaning a pandemic can be caused by any infectious thing that spreads its shit. Plague is just sickness caused by a bacteria called yersinia pestis!

Edit: to add to the plague thing - we call pandemics plagues because of the fun times in medieval Europe when the plague caused a pandemic
