If you can't just uninstall them then disable them in the settings but occasionally they do come back if there are major updates to them and your Google Play is set to auto-update all apps, I've never had that since disabling the apps I don't want though.
Rooting your phone might not be a good idea as it can disable things like banking apps, secure folders and such, there are supposedly ways to hide your root but I never got them to work on my banking app and unrooting won't fix that if you have a digital fuse on your phone (samsung has these and once they're tripped they can't be un-tripped).
I think you can use ADB without rooting to uninstall apps that can't be done via the UI but you'll need a seperate computer to do this. Have a look at this link but, as always, do some research on the subject rather than taking a strangers word:

I was going to cheat a bit and just take the inside black shell and somehow squeeze it in to a small floating shelf drawer I have but I don't have the tools I'd need to make a good job of making holes for the ports and I'm not sure how well the Bluetooth would work if it was completely covered like that (I'm sure it would be fine) and airflow would be taken care of by a tiny Noctua fan I have knocking around.
That was the idea, I don't have a printer but I'd pay to have it done, I'm not particularly handy so I wouldn't have much confidence in building something myself what with it needing to be very accurate to line up all the ports
That is an older pic, I cut the Batman ears off with a Dremmel and sanded them down to look very similar to the Dbrand ones but not quite as fitted a look. I like the Dbrand ones but I don't want to pay nearly £100 for some plates.
The problem with making a legal case is that she doesn't have proof she did actually work those hours, she would need to get coworkers involved as witnesses which they would most likely be wary of doing in case it affects their employment...maybe she has clients she can contact as they would have nothing to lose by giving a statement? Request any CCTV?
It might be a tricky one and it sucks big time, she needs to gtfo out of such a shitty job and maybe just cut her losses while bashing them on social media every chance she can get, the backlash might prompt a response from the company.

I don't want to switch because I find iPhones and the UI to be bland and boring, the ecosystem is too locked down and there's little to no customisation. Plus there is a lot of snobbery around apple products and that doesn't sit well with me.
