I really appreciate all the knowledge you shared. I was wondering if I could ask if there were any learning resources you would recommend to learn more about this subject. For example, you seen quite fluid in typing out the correct written spelling for these languages. How are you doing that fluidly on keyboard/phone? (E.g. have you programmed shortcuts or are you copy and pasting each time?)
Thanks for sharing this, I just started transitioning over to Lemmy and grateful to see acknowledgement of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit on this community

Thank you for sharing, I found that to be a good resource. I also recently learned that July 1st 1923 is when the federal government passed the Chinese Exclusion Act (link below). https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/multiculturalism-anti-racism/chinese-legacy-bc/history/discrimination/federal-exclusion-act#:~:text=Passed%20on%20July%201%2C%20Dominion,longer%20permitted%20to%20enter%20Canada.
I really wonder what life would be like here if Turtle Island wasn't violently and systematically colonized.
I'm just testing if I can comment because for some reason I couldn't on the other "Hello there" thread
Edit: looks like it works. Asuka is awesome.
Amazing resource, thanks for sharing!
