I have an youtube account since 2008 and since then a lot of creators came and went. I grew, the creators grew, that's how time works. For example I dropped all Let's Play channels, as I don't watch them anymore. I do watch some gaming channels but not full gameplays anymore. At some point I started watching videos in English, than in German (my native language).
I don't remember any instance, where I dropped a channel, because I specifically didn't like the person anymore. It was either I lost interest in that content, they changed their content or they even stopped doing videos.

A few months ago I was out with my nephew, my sister and my mom in a wildlife park and they where kinda pressuring me to take more pictures. Looking at my camera roll, I've taken 40 pictures and 5 clips, including duplicate shots. Sure pictures are useful to remember, but I don't need so many, that they tell the whole story. I want just so many pictures, that I can remember it myself and if I'm sharing them, to aid my story telling.
Sometimes I wish back analog film, as this really limited people on what they capture. On the other hand, digital cameras have the upside, that you don't waste precious space, when one picture fails. This was always a big bummer. And you couldn't review the picture you took. Looking at the pictures I took as a kid with analog film, they where pretty good.
They will be the future. Not today, not tomorrow but some day. When they have less accidents, especially deadly ones, you have a hard time to argue why human drivers shouldn't be banned.
Of course there are still a lot of things to handle and to figuring out. One of the biggest causes of accidents are humans. We would need to do a lot of work, making the streets good for AI cars. We also need a lot of discipline, to keep the streets safe for AI. Being it to maintain public available maps and directly update them or discipline with temporary markings. I've seen quite a few examples, where the signage was wrong and if I would have followed it, as the law said, I would have driven wrong and especially bad, other cars around me, would have had other signs. This wouldn't work with AI cars, as they can and should follow strict rules and allowing them too much rule breaking, would be bad.
I think what we would see first is a hybrid system, where certain routes can only be driven by AI, like highways, where its easier to maintain them for AI. Cities would highly benefit from it, but I think its quite a challenge to optimize it.
Next thing where AI cars would be better would be easier flow of traffic, no traffic jams and less need for an own car and parking spaces. If all cars communicate with each other, they can accelerate all at the same time, which massively boosts the throughput of a street. Also just for cars, there is no need of traffic lights. They communicate between each other and coordinate how they drive across a crossroad.
As for the other thing, cars could just drive around like taxis. Without a human driver, they can drive around all day, are way cheaper and don't need a parking spot everywhere. You wouldn't need parking spots in cities at all. You would only need spaces for cars to stop, to pick up and let out guests and somewhere a charging spot, if we don't come up with a system that charges them, while driving. But this charging spot could be anywhere and they need way less space, as they don't need to open the doors.
You may say, this is in the far future, but let's remember human inventions. 1902 the Wright Glider took it's first flight. Just 67 later in 1969, we send the first man to the moon. Today we wear watches, on our wrists, that are 50,000 times more powerful, in some specs even more than that, than the Apollo 11 computer. 100 years ago we didn't had televisions. In 1935 we had the first TV station. It would be bald to assume, that it would take ages, until self driving cars would be ready to fully drive alone 24/7. I would assume that I would still see the beginning during my lifetime, where on certain routes, no human driver is allowed. Just look how far AI video gen has come. Take the "Will Smith eating spaghetti" gen Video. It's wild how far it had come in just a few years.
Of course today they aren't ready and I would be pretty scared, behind the wheel. I didn't had the "joy" to test this, but I absolutely will, when I get the chance, just to see how the tech is. the whole testing in a real environment is needed, to see the weakpoints, but I think they went too fast, especially when I see videos of cars, deadlocking themselves. This way we do get the data quicker but sometimes at a high price.

I would start with cutting out 3rd party cloud services from your personal usage. Instead using dropbox/google drive/iCloud and so on, use Nextcloud. Same for images. Make your local media like movies, music, audio books, books and so on accessible to all devices, with the neat features we love from other services like Netflix, Audible, Kindle and so on.
You could also just starting hosting your own game servers, than renting or making it only available when you also play.
But be aware of the risks. Something like a Minecraft Server can be made accessible via VPN. If its open to the internet, the damage is rather small, if you don't value your minecraft world that high. I rather have my Minecraft World deleted, than my personal pictures stolen. When you can open your service only to LAN, you have a lower risk to get it compromised (the risk isn't zero! It's never zero. Air gaped systems make it near zero, but not zero.)
When you do open your stuff to the internet, you need to update your software well and configure it well. Stuff like email is a pain to configure. I looked long for a managing software package, which made it easier for me but to leave me freedom.
Next important thing is updates. YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR STUFF! I do prefer everything with auto updates. I use watchtower for my docker containers, even though it's not recommended with some containers.
What's currently a big deal breaker for me is PostgreSQL. I threw out containers and avoided containers requiring it, as it needs manual interaction. For work I actually need to migrate from MariaDB to PostgreSQL for our chat system. At least they do use the LTS version, so you aren't constantly needing to manually update.
As for the hardware, it highly depends on what do you need. A rented server (a VPS or a dedicated Server) does have the advantage to be easily in the internet and on the same note, this is a disadvantage. For email and websites this is good but you need to be very careful.
You can start with a Raspberry Pi. Home Assistant does run on it and they do offer some apps, like AdGuard Home, Bookstack and Vaultwarden.
You can also start with a NAS. I run my stuff on my Synology NAS, a DS920+. It has Docker. But you may want to look into a different company, as Synology did some bad stuff, that makes me them not recommending it anymore. I did heard Ugreen should be good. Obviously you could always go bigger and build your own NAS and using truenas or something else.
You can also start with a MiniPC and use Proxmox.
For the operating system, I think the best thing is what floats your boat. I do use Ubuntu. Why? Because I like it. Using Containers is a big recommendation from me. With Proxmox you have VMs and LXC containers, which allows you to experiment within a container and separate stuff. You can throw it away easier, without disturbing other stuff, that is working.
I really would recommend to start small and keeping an eye on risk. Start in your local network and with stuff that isn't big risk. If you stark taking more risks, don't go full in in the beginning. If for example you hosts your own file cloud or email, don't abandon your previous provider and start small, with unimportant stuff.

I did start with a VPS. Very hard and I made quite a few mistakes. the authorities twice called me out for stupid mistakes. It was the fun days, where I actually thought running a Windows Server in the Internet was a smart idea. I did run a webserver and email from them for quite some time. I even had a Skype Music Bot running without issues. What the authorities didn't like where my attempts with the DNS Server and my MSSQL Server.
Now my rented server is running my mail and webserver (with Nextcloud) and if I feel fancy, a game server. I don't utilize it as I could and in the near future, I do want to switch things up but I need to keep my mail running.
My Synology NAS is the big stuff. It has my data on it and runs most my docker stuff. There I run audiobookshelf, calibre-web, gitea, jellyfin and paperless-ngx for my main stuff.
My Raspberry Pi 5 is running HomeAssistant to control my smart home stuff and a new addition is Music Assistant.
My mini PC is running Proxmox with Frigate. Frigate is a NVR for your cctv. Not that I have a big cctv system.
Technically I did start earlier with a Minecraft Server and a Teamspeak server, running from my own PC but that has the big downside, that you need to keep your PC running.

I've looked at my Steam page and in my Review 8 years ago, I actually wrote that the first Act is kinda "uninteresting". My playtime is clocked in at 45 Minutes, for the original game. The plus version I played on Switch but the main story is the same.
Are you serious? Because if yes, then you played not enough. The first act is like a dating visual novel. After that point, it's not. Still it stays a visual novel and that won't change but it's not dating.

Private I use Nextcloud + Betterbird (Thunderbird Softfork (stays compatible with the matching esr version)) + DAVx5 for Android.
At work we use an old web calendar in php5, as this is the only calendar we found that has a side by side view. Each coworker has his own calendar and in the 4 week view, each is displayed side by side. We didn't found any replacement with that kind of view.
Also we use the categories very strict. Each entry need a category, the admin defines the categories and it shows icons for it.
Nextcloud even introduced categories a few years ago and still doesn't have the option to define ones and delete default ones. You can add own categories on the fly, but this is so bad in design, as everyone needs discipline, which doesn't happen.
At least something that is legal and that you can be sure that this is the persons will.
What I found weird is that in Germany until 4 years ago "ads" for an abortion was illegal but abortion itself is legal. Under ads it even counted when a doctor posted on their website, that they do abortions. They than changed that law and revoked any conviction until 1990.
Overall when I think how recent some laws changed and what was normal back when I was born or when my parents where born.
Thats why assisted death/suicide should be more legalized and talked about. I mean in such a case, the case is pretty simple. In such a case, they need a second doctor from outside to confirm the diagnosis, get a notary or some kind to confirm that this is the wish of the patient and they got all the necessary information. I guess in a week they should have the clearance.
This way someone can leave the world on their terms, without pain or traumatizing or hurting bystanders.
Als jugendlicher habe ich Sport gemacht. Judo und einiges mit dem Fahrrad. Nach 45 Minuten brauchte es aber eine längere Pause und der Rückweg war dann Quälerei. Jetzt wiege ich aber gut 60kg mehr als damals und jetzt brauche ich nach nem 50 Meter Sprint schon ein Rettungswagen.
Das hat auch nichts mit wollen zu tun, der Körper kann es einfach nicht leisten. Ich muss erst mal ne Aktivität finden, die mir auch Spaß macht und der Körper auch noch leisten kann. Ich würde gerne wieder mehr Fahrrad fahren, aber der Körper kann es nicht und auch mal ein Fahrrad finden, was für mein Gewicht ausgelegt ist und kein halbes vermögen kostet.
Fahrrad wäre laut Maps so schnell wie ÖPNV nach Fahrplan (fährt nur noch selten nach Fahrplan). Fitnessmäßig hätte ich die Route noch nicht mal als Jugendlicher geschafft und jetzt wiege ich deutlich mehr und bin noch weniger fit. Außerdem ist die Route Selbstmord, da es beschissen ausgebaut ist für Fahrräder. Was gehen würde, wenn es meine Fitness erlauben würde, wäre bis zum Hauptbahnhof mit dem Fahrrad, dann mit dem Zug mit umsteigen und dann das letzte Stück wieder mit Fahrrad. Wäre ich bei ner knappen Stunde. Das Auto wäre immer noch schneller. Nähere S-Bahn Halte dauern länger.
Über die Preise kann man ja immer meckern. Ich war das letzte mal im Oktober tanken, weil ich seit dem im HO bin. Meine Mutter durfte die letzten 3 male bezahlen, weil sie öfters damit fährt und auch vorher nie was abgedrückt hat.
Ich musste also bisher nicht unter den hohen Preisen leiden.
Ändern kann man immer was. Ich bin Jahrelang mit dem ÖPNV gefahren, aber die Fahrzeit hat mir einfach nicht geschmeckt. Während Corona war es angenehmer, aber danach wurde es noch schlimmer, im Vergleich vor Corona. 105 bis 120 Minuten pro Strecke vs. 35 bis 45 Minuten (üblicherweise) ist schon ein harter unterschied.
Natürlich gibt es einige die leicht umsteigen können. Wenn ich ein eigenes Haus hätte und das Geld, dann PV + Speicher + E-Auto. Da müsste ich nicht groß nachdenken. Selbst wenn ich nur auf der Arbeit laden könnte, dann würde ich es machen.
Weniger als die Hälfte bewohnen Eigentum. Nicht jedes Haus hat die Möglichkeit einer Garage oder Stellplatz. Wobei dann muss man auch die Wohnungen mit Tiefgarage und extra Stellplätzen bedenken, wo auch schon Ladeinfrastruktur ausgebaut wurde. Kommt halt darauf an, wo man wohnt und was man hat.
Stimmt, das hatte ich nicht bedacht. Die kWh läge aber bei 0,3036 + Grundgebühr, beim lokalen Stromanbieter für die Ladesäule. Wäre aber immer noch ein draufzahlen von ca. 12€. Davon muss ich knapp 1€ pro Monat abziehen, denn ich bei meiner Versicherung sparen würde, weil er in einer Garage steht. Keine Ahnung ob das genau so wenig ausmacht, bei einem anderen Auto.
Die 12€ mehr im Monat sind zwar immer noch was man draufzahlen muss. Im Winter spart man sich aber das Kratzen und ich denke mal auch die Klimaanlage kann man auch vorab starten, was Komfort ist. Allerdings war der Strom auch mal teurer (überm Hausanschluss ist der immer noch teurer) und Diesel war auch mal deutlich günstiger.
Unterm Strich macht aktuell das Tauschen nur bedingt Sinn, um kurzfristig zu sparen.

I did start with a VPS. Very hard and I made quite a few mistakes. the authorities twice called me out for stupid mistakes. It was the fun days, where I actually thought running a Windows Server in the Internet was a smart idea. I did run a webserver and email from them for quite some time. I even had a Skype Music Bot running without issues. What the authorities didn't like where my attempts with the DNS Server and my MSSQL Server. Now my rented server is running my mail and webserver (with Nextcloud) and if I feel fancy, a game server. I don't utilize it as I could and in the near future, I do want to switch things up but I need to keep my mail running.
My Synology NAS is the big stuff. It has my data on it and runs most my docker stuff. There I run audiobookshelf, calibre-web, gitea, jellyfin and paperless-ngx for my main stuff.
My Raspberry Pi 5 is running HomeAssistant to control my smart home stuff and a new addition is Music Assistant.
My mini PC is running Proxmox with Frigate. Frigate is a NVR for your cctv. Not that I have a big cctv system.
Technically I did start earlier with a Minecraft Server and a Teamspeak server, running from my own PC but that has the big downside, that you need to keep your PC running.
In Germany a school recently held a funeral for their school skeleton, which was an actual human. They suspected that this was a young Indian man. Up to the 20th century, you could easily buy a dead person from India. There are still schools with actual human remains.

Einfach mal der Verbraucherzentrale melden und dem Unternehmen schreiben. Am Ende heißt es sonst, dass es bisher keine Kundenbeschwerden gab. Ich sehe auch nicht was das Unternehmen durch falsche Werbung gewinnen sollte. Ist ja nicht so dass sich der Preis ändert. Es ist ja eher so, dass zugesetzte Kohlensäure ja was kostet. Wenn man aber sieht wie günstig es die Discounter anbieten, dann sieht man wie wenig relevant das beim Rohstoff ist.
Wie bitte? Ich bin nicht normal? Also bei mir geht es durch die Beine, sogar bis in die Augen (muss diese schließen) und das ganze ohne anale Stimulation.

I've looked at my Steam page and in my Review 8 years ago, I actually wrote that the first Act is kinda "uninteresting". My playtime is clocked in at 45 Minutes, for the original game. The plus version I played on Switch but the main story is the same.
Are you serious? Because if yes, then you played not enough. The first act is like a dating visual novel. After that point, it's not. Still it stays a visual novel and that won't change but it's not dating. If you need a non story spoiler to know when the point is reached:

Of course a visual novel is a different kind of game and I usually don't like it, as its mostly reading, with a few choices. Its like reading an interactive book with a few visuals.

Private I use Nextcloud + Betterbird (Thunderbird Softfork (stays compatible with the matching esr version)) + DAVx5 for Android.
At work we use an old web calendar in php5, as this is the only calendar we found that has a side by side view. Each coworker has his own calendar and in the 4 week view, each is displayed side by side. We didn't found any replacement with that kind of view. Also we use the categories very strict. Each entry need a category, the admin defines the categories and it shows icons for it. Nextcloud even introduced categories a few years ago and still doesn't have the option to define ones and delete default ones. You can add own categories on the fly, but this is so bad in design, as everyone needs discipline, which doesn't happen.
At least something that is legal and that you can be sure that this is the persons will.
What I found weird is that in Germany until 4 years ago "ads" for an abortion was illegal but abortion itself is legal. Under ads it even counted when a doctor posted on their website, that they do abortions. They than changed that law and revoked any conviction until 1990.
Overall when I think how recent some laws changed and what was normal back when I was born or when my parents where born.
Thats why assisted death/suicide should be more legalized and talked about. I mean in such a case, the case is pretty simple. In such a case, they need a second doctor from outside to confirm the diagnosis, get a notary or some kind to confirm that this is the wish of the patient and they got all the necessary information. I guess in a week they should have the clearance.
This way someone can leave the world on their terms, without pain or traumatizing or hurting bystanders.
Als jugendlicher habe ich Sport gemacht. Judo und einiges mit dem Fahrrad. Nach 45 Minuten brauchte es aber eine längere Pause und der Rückweg war dann Quälerei. Jetzt wiege ich aber gut 60kg mehr als damals und jetzt brauche ich nach nem 50 Meter Sprint schon ein Rettungswagen. Das hat auch nichts mit wollen zu tun, der Körper kann es einfach nicht leisten. Ich muss erst mal ne Aktivität finden, die mir auch Spaß macht und der Körper auch noch leisten kann. Ich würde gerne wieder mehr Fahrrad fahren, aber der Körper kann es nicht und auch mal ein Fahrrad finden, was für mein Gewicht ausgelegt ist und kein halbes vermögen kostet.
Fahrrad wäre laut Maps so schnell wie ÖPNV nach Fahrplan (fährt nur noch selten nach Fahrplan). Fitnessmäßig hätte ich die Route noch nicht mal als Jugendlicher geschafft und jetzt wiege ich deutlich mehr und bin noch weniger fit. Außerdem ist die Route Selbstmord, da es beschissen ausgebaut ist für Fahrräder. Was gehen würde, wenn es meine Fitness erlauben würde, wäre bis zum Hauptbahnhof mit dem Fahrrad, dann mit dem Zug mit umsteigen und dann das letzte Stück wieder mit Fahrrad. Wäre ich bei ner knappen Stunde. Das Auto wäre immer noch schneller. Nähere S-Bahn Halte dauern länger.
Über die Preise kann man ja immer meckern. Ich war das letzte mal im Oktober tanken, weil ich seit dem im HO bin. Meine Mutter durfte die letzten 3 male bezahlen, weil sie öfters damit fährt und auch vorher nie was abgedrückt hat. Ich musste also bisher nicht unter den hohen Preisen leiden.
Ändern kann man immer was. Ich bin Jahrelang mit dem ÖPNV gefahren, aber die Fahrzeit hat mir einfach nicht geschmeckt. Während Corona war es angenehmer, aber danach wurde es noch schlimmer, im Vergleich vor Corona. 105 bis 120 Minuten pro Strecke vs. 35 bis 45 Minuten (üblicherweise) ist schon ein harter unterschied.
Natürlich gibt es einige die leicht umsteigen können. Wenn ich ein eigenes Haus hätte und das Geld, dann PV + Speicher + E-Auto. Da müsste ich nicht groß nachdenken. Selbst wenn ich nur auf der Arbeit laden könnte, dann würde ich es machen. Weniger als die Hälfte bewohnen Eigentum. Nicht jedes Haus hat die Möglichkeit einer Garage oder Stellplatz. Wobei dann muss man auch die Wohnungen mit Tiefgarage und extra Stellplätzen bedenken, wo auch schon Ladeinfrastruktur ausgebaut wurde. Kommt halt darauf an, wo man wohnt und was man hat.
Stimmt, das hatte ich nicht bedacht. Die kWh läge aber bei 0,3036 + Grundgebühr, beim lokalen Stromanbieter für die Ladesäule. Wäre aber immer noch ein draufzahlen von ca. 12€. Davon muss ich knapp 1€ pro Monat abziehen, denn ich bei meiner Versicherung sparen würde, weil er in einer Garage steht. Keine Ahnung ob das genau so wenig ausmacht, bei einem anderen Auto.
Die 12€ mehr im Monat sind zwar immer noch was man draufzahlen muss. Im Winter spart man sich aber das Kratzen und ich denke mal auch die Klimaanlage kann man auch vorab starten, was Komfort ist. Allerdings war der Strom auch mal teurer (überm Hausanschluss ist der immer noch teurer) und Diesel war auch mal deutlich günstiger.
Unterm Strich macht aktuell das Tauschen nur bedingt Sinn, um kurzfristig zu sparen.
