"I should like to put it on record that I have never been able to dislike Hitler. Ever since he came to power—till then, like nearly everyone, I had been deceived into thinking that he did not matter—I have reflected that I would certainly kill him if I could get within reach of him, but that I could feel no personal animosity."
I think the first sentence was taken a bit out of context. In the second he says he would kill him if got the chance to. I think he's just trying to say that Hitler was charismatic.
I had to google it because having those guys here would be super scary. But it seems like like Asian Hornets are invasive in Europe, which are already big. The picture shows an Asian Giant Hornet, which are even bigger.
Very much clickbait going from "My car is becoming a brick" in the title to "Well the technology lasts longer than gas cars but the smartphone features might stop working at some point" in the article. Also Tesla is not all EVs, they are especially bad in how they use software in cars.
Yes battery + solar seem to have gotten good enough in recent years. So much so that it seems they are more cost effective than nuclear for newly build systems. Nuclear even seems to be the most expensive one.

A bit sad how pessimistic everyone is. Renewables are currently becoming the most economic way to produce electricity and even states that do not care about the environment are investing in it. EVs are making progress as well. And while it is true that a lot of damage has already been done and we will face the consequences, I also feel that decarbonization is inevitable even from a economic perspective at this point.
The speed at which this happens is variable though and determines how many people will die, this is why it is important to not be pessimistic and hopeless but to try steering things in the right direction.
Hab neulich mit jemandem gesprochen der in der Branche arbeitet und der meinte die machen das grad viel in der Hoffnung dass die Leute dann kündigen. Die Autobauer wollen halt grad Stellen abbauen.
Errrm Russia is literally in the process of attacking a neighbouring country right now. They are tying their very best to make this country collapse with things far worse than sanctions, and no one has started WW3 yet.
Solar is better in every way

We did a run of Secret of Evermore with the 2 player mod this december, was super fun. I love rpg's from that era.

Not that I'm a fan, but he is literally the biggest channel on youtube. So it might be interesting to read up on him
