@mattblaze@federate.social Thanks... I need to try more water with an ND filter during daytime, like your excellent example. (but of course, need to be hiking alone or with someone who doesn't mind me futzing around with putting the ND filter on and taking photos for an hour, LOL...)
@mattblaze@federate.social My best execution of this technique... this was early AM in extremely low light and before I learned about neutral density filters...
@mattblaze@federate.social LOL having once been unable to start my car at Mt. Wilson, broadcast radio towers are something else... (had to shift it into neutral and roll downhill out of RF range -- it was jamming my third party ignition cutoff burglar alarm)
@mattblaze@federate.social Hmm, I feel bad for whoever has to keep the electronics in there working... I can't imagine sitting on a salty platform makes that easy.
@pseudonym@fdroid Linux on Acer Chromebook is far more powerful than Google Chrome (especially the Chromebooks I have played with, which are *well* past their "expire date" and won't update).
@mattblaze@federate.social Hmm, when do they put armed National Guard troops there? 🤔 I think I've seen that in movies...

@mattblaze@federate.social "must be short to be able to sleep here"?
@mattblaze@federate.social LOL I suspect that would be popular with skateboarders (I'm sure chased down by park police).

@mattblaze@federate.social Frogger?
@mattblaze@federate.social Impressive!
@mattblaze@federate.social Impressively sharp image from top to bottom... I guess that's the lens?
@mattblaze@federate.social The Canon 50mm fixed lens is probably the best lens for the least money you can buy, I use it for portraits a LOT.
@mattblaze@federate.social I'm surprised you managed to get that at all.
@mattblaze@federate.social So was there a big rotating antenna on top of that, then?
@mattblaze@federate.social I don't recommend taking that couch home.

@pseudonym @fdroid If it's an Intel, reload with Linux (Ubuntu 22 works, or Debian 12) and load pihole.
