Any insect aficionados here that can identify this beetle(?) - my dogs tried to eat it as dogs do but they didn't like the taste so I threw it out of our yard.
Look into the punch-down fold, should make it easier to push the cup in. Once it's in, push in from the fold side to seal the cup and you should be good. If it has an adjustable stem try walking with it for a bit and trim down as needed.

Camera flash. You can take photos of me just fine without flash (or if we're outside and the flash isn't as noticeable), but as soon as it's indoors and you need flash, I'll be out.

It didn't bear fruit anyways (none of my tomatoes have fruit so far - probably because of the heat, or I don't have the right nutrients), so it's not that big of a loss, but I should get a bigger greenhouse built.

Surprisingly it's not a beetle at all! Mattiphus Shield Bug, found in Luzon. I thought it was an invasive bug, but could be beneficial.

My greenhouse mantis is thriving. Unfortunately I don't see any other mantis around so no mantis babies.

Really? I have this insect trap thing that I'm pretty sure uses UV LEDs and it's been very effective in catching and killing mosquitoes.
