I can see that. Essentially, replace a good chunk of the hard angles with flowing curves. Don't know how I'll handle the colors though. My skills in that regards is very basic.
While making this, I contemplated naming this The old one or its current name since at one point, it had more Cthulhu-esque features. Probably why you're seeing some squid in it.

Thanks! I often try to blend shapes and forms together. If I'm making a shape and there's something in the way, interact with it in some way. This sometimes make some of my artwork look more organic, as you said.

I tried to make a mosquito-esque creature, in a flight in motion type piece. It's back wings being up, mid center, and front wings down.

The skull shape was a side effect of me trying to make the lower area flow towards the viewer.
