Most people can’t afford a google pixel and if they can, aren’t going to risk it.

And they shouldn't. By buying Pixels you are supporting Google, the same company that is destroying Android freedom.

Today's best alternatives are phones that come preloaded with custom ROMs (Brax3, Fairphone, Murena, Iodé, and so on), or if you're feeling more adventurous, a Linux phone (I have heard good things about FuriLabs FLX1).

That's a problem of the drivers, not the games or other applications. If the drivers don't work, you would have issues even using Windows applications with Wine.

The first part is not relevant, games are not kernel modules or drivers so it doesn't matter that there isn't internal kernel ABI stability.

The second part is just what I said before, the instability is in the libraries (like glibc), not in the kernel.

The Linux Kernel is unfavorable to game developers because of its instabilities (ABI/API)

The Linux Kernel is very stable in terms of API and even ABI. It's the rest of the OS components (graphics libraries, sound libraries, etc.) that is problematic

I'm not talking about Russian military strategy, it's clear that they have made many mistakes. I'm just saying that many Russian products and services are quite good, see the Sukhoi Su-57 or Rosatom which builds nuclear power plants all over the world for example.
