I'm having no end of trouble with the image generators at the moment, even though i'm specifying professional photo or oil painting - realism in the art style drop down, it just keeps generating nothing but cartoon or anime style pictures, even the the generators that have a guidance scale option is doing nothing to solve this.
Professional Photo seems to only slightly generate something that looks like a oil painting, but alot of stuff is just coming out as too cartoony for my liking, and not having a working negative prompt is killing alot of it for me.
Also the generation has been so painfully slow these days, sometimes one image taking several minutes to generate, I know they did a server migration the other week but alot of stuff is still really shit at the moment and no where near as good and reliable as it was last year.
I am also getting sick to death of seeing these white backgrounds despite clearly describing the background and environment in my prompts, what exactly is the reason for this stupid white background? I hope this gets fixed.
I'm totally with you on this, the negative prompt was very useful for filtering out all the stuff you don't want in an image (although I'm not sure it worked 100% of the time), so I want to plead to have it back and working again for the text to image generator. I've looked at the other generators on the website and there are some others that still have the negative prompt intact.
I've noticed the past few weeks that when selecting the oil painting style in the text to image generator, it just keeps putting in all kinds of random styles that I don't want, cartoon, photo, anime, so yes the image quality is good when it gets it right, but right now it's just throwing out all kinds of unwanted random stuff, some good, some bad.
Yeah I've tried a few different techniques, even bullet points combined with parenthesis, but everything just keeps moving around into the wrong places. Adding a wristwatch starts putting a big dial on the belt buckle, making them wear different types of shoes or boots just gets swapped around, even tattoos swap around and get placed on the wrong body part. It is frustrating but I've just generated 6 images, picked the best one that is closest to what I requested, opened a new session and copied and pasted the seed over and generated 6 images of that one picture and just keep refreshing until something looks ok.
