"Amid all the trash talk, WR George Pickens popped up on the injury report today with a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday's game."
I couldn't help but comment:
"Hey Camryn, is there anyone I can ask for permission to smirk about the karma headed Pickens' way in this situation? Not his injury, I'm not that petty. :)"
It reminds me of past times when steelers players talked disparagingly about the Browns, or danced on our logos. It doesn't end well for them, right?
Indeed. I Took the pain of a wander through Reddit's r/Ravens (I couldn't find a community here) for mention of Modell's inability to get in again. *crickets*
Replies sent from my Mastodon account @bazbt3@appdot.net are not reaching here, which might mean posts won't either. Not a biggie, I really don't mind posting from within Lemmy.
I forgot to mention, I also created a Bluesky account recently, and will probably post there due to the number of sports news accounts migrating over from Twitter.
I hope you don't mind me posting this here, I believe we Browns fans need some relief from the constant drip feed of negative stuff from the last 3 seasons. "A guy named Blake" just might be it. :)
Wouldn't it be great to have someone of Nick's calibre finish a career with our team for once. I've been a fan of the NFL since the late eighties and seen so many stellar players move on, and it seems to me to be increasingly common.
Anyway, thanks to @ctang1@lemmy.world for the heads-up about this community. (Maybe I'll stick around for a bit, but I've an annoying habit of dropping off the radar quickly - or annually - often).
After all that, Steelers WR George Pickens is OUT for today's game against the #Browns.

Karma. Again.

I replied to you on Sunday, but via Mastodon:
"Thankyou. I'm hoping, if I understand the way the Fediverse works correctly, that I can post and comment from Mastodon and it just works on Lemmy.
Spoiler: nobody understands the Fediverse. :)"
So, I absolutely don't understand the Fediverse. :)
Apology 2, for the typo. I meant to say to form the Baltimore ratbirds, sorry.
Apologies, I'd forgotten hashtags don't work here.

No, I'm not a reliable source either. :)
