Even if they wanted to, a lot of PhDs take longer than 4 years. My program averages 5.5 (with 4 being very rare and considered "early") and someone I know in physics say 6 or 7 is common. Those programs are going to have a large drop in admission. I'm on my way out and will finish at 4.3 years, I'm the first one in my class to graduate
Yeah, the talesfrom[job] subs were fun to read. Tech support was my favorite of those type though. I looked for them here when I migrated but didn't find anything (besides bots reposting from reddit)
Also a ton of games have day 1 patches that you'd need to download anyway from their servers. I don't recall seeing standalone installers for patches like we used to have. So buying a physical copy just makes you feel good rather than actually avoiding the problem with digital copies.
Two years ago when I built my new computer, there were something like two cases that actually had a slot for a disk drive. I did end up getting one for my older games and it is nice
I got mine last year with the e/OS version (that's what's offered in the US). I have not used google messages specifically, but I have had trouble with RCS messages on the default messaging app
Or micron reintroduces consumer ram while their competitors are locked into the bubble price. They then proceed to monopolize the market and things get worse
Sorry, I don't actually know any, but I guessed the kitchen jokes about pansexual are related to the "pan" part. I then though it feasible there were shopping jokes about bisexuals because of the "bi" (homophone for buy) part.
We had a mandatory training earlier this year (the typical "don't harass your coworkers stuff"), but the account they sent the link from was a a 32 character string of random letters and numbers followed by a domain I didn't recognize. I reported it as phishing since none of the links led to the company's domain. I got in trouble about a month later because the deadline had passed and I hadn't taken the training.
No mention of the fact that NIST has been on a hiring freeze for about 2 years or the budget crap with Congress. Seems like crippling the government affects their ability to get things done
I think this is a reference to the orange shitstain saying the Islamic Republic of Japan (instead of Iran) fired missiles at one of the US ships

I'd rather not live in a society where theft is necessary to survive

I'd read the u/airz_23 ones, but I didn't know they had a second account. I'll have to go back and read those, thanks.

carvingpainting itT-Mobile. They don't support the fairphone 6, but its worked well
This was the DC metro. I don't know how strong of a signal you're looking for, but I didn't notice any differences compared to my previous iphone
I've used mine in a subway in the US, not tried parking garages

Thanks. I found it there too, but I was more surprised by the removal. It didn't seem particularly over the top for them.
Did they delete this? Shows an error 404 now

Would a pansexual be a bisexual who's had enough shopping jokes?
