This happened on an episode of Maury - my roommate and I were convinced the father was an idiot for claiming one of his twins wasn't his, and then the paternity test came back and we lost our minds
Malt is the absolute cheapest part of brewing beer, I buy 55lb bags of it for $80 CAD (so like 40-60 USD), and there are multiple shops near me I can buy from. You only need a pot, a big ass mesh bag, a carboy/airlock, and a bottle capper if you don't have swing top bottles.
To make 5 gallons of basic ass beer (yields like 48-54 bottles) you need 8-10lbs of grain (1lb of which is the fancy $2/lb malt; and 2lbs of which can be subbed for minute rice if you are doing an adjunct ale). You need 1, maybe 2oz of hops (hallertau is $2.50/oz). Yeast is $4-8 but is a 1 time cost because it's reusable. To make an IPA your malt cost is 25% higher and your hop cost is like 4x
The economics are actually great, but that's fully contingent on you 1) placing no value on your time, and 2) not getting hooked and spending thousands on a stainless steel, PID controlled electronic brewing system, or a 4 tap home draught system (I did both)
Yeah I hate when I have to convert temperatures between systems, and then the nice round numbers that represent common values used in everyday life like 0, 20, 30, 40, and 100 become absolutely nonsensical values like 32, 68, 86, 104 and 212
Metric measurements are only decimals in North America because things are fabricated to be round imperial numbers for the American market. When you buy a piece of lumber in Europe it's cut to 45x95mm which (shockingly) converts to the absolutely nonsensical 1.77165x3.74016 inch two by four
They slept in separate beds and it solved the issue.
The alleged sexual assaults came to light in December 2022 when the complainant went to the Mounties trying to regain custody of the couple’s children after the couple split up.
Yes I'm aware, it was literally a sarcastic comment, not a brain-dead take.
When the state tax coffers are covering a 4 billion dollar municipal deficit, and the state coffers are disproportionately funded by NYC residents, it's just a case of the left hand stealing from the right pocket. There is still a 4 billion dollar deficit, it's just being paid for by either a different tax revenue stream, or budget cuts to a different set of services
Alternatively, people who want windows decide to order the Linux config, and use the $280 they saved to buy an OEM windows license elsewhere (or like, just pirate it)
I would look for a soap dispenser that dispenses smaller amounts instead. Not only is diluting it going to be a lot of work, doing it too much can cause it to weaken to the point stuff can grow in it - if you insist, xantham gum is your best bet.
If we have to pronounce every country or place as its residents call it then we should roast and ignore every English speaker that says "Germany" instead of Deutschland
These don't fall under section 10 though - 7A through F detail the terms that are explicitly exempt from the restriction on adding additional terms.
Other people have argued that these are contradictory - but you don't need trademark rights to display a logo if the purpose of the display is to directly refer to the trademarked material. They are likely hoping for something along the lines of "powered by ". For example, Coca Cola logos and trademarks have appeared in TONS of Pepsi marketing materials, because those trademarks were used to directly refer to the coca cola brand, which is fair use.
I think what it comes down to is whether the courts see "displaying the logo" as "reasonable" attribution or not.
Canadian here - It's like our national dish. NOBODY calls it "mac and cheese" up here. Don't think of it as mac and cheese. don't compare it to mac and cheese. It's its own thing that occupies a completely different niche and scratches its own itch. Once you realize it's not meant to compare with real mac and cheese the healing can begin.
Take a Kirkland beef hot dog and finely slice it into half moons, cook them in a saucepan until it is crispy, and then deglaze with milk and add the cheese powder, before mixing in the cooked noodles. Optionally slather it with ketchup and/or sriracha.
Edit: Also president's choice (a no-name brand here in Canada) is objectively better than every other boxed mac and cheese product in existence (I have done blind taste tests) - Galen Weston is still a prick though
The AGPL license allows the license holder to specify additional terms of the license that require preservation of specified reasonable attributions or legal notices - this is covered in 7B, and the onlyoffice license specifies that the logo must be preserved for attribution.
Assuming a logo legally counts as reasonable attribution (IANAL) that would put only office in the right here, but holy shit, the fact that the license allows these modifications to be put on line #655 rather than line #2 is absurd. I, like most people I assume, only read far enough into the license to figure out whether it's MIT or GPL
This is what the salmon study was saying - if you did a whole brain analysis with fmri without an a priori prediction you need to adopt a radically more stringent threshold for significance
The salmon in the MRI was a bowl with a million jellybeans in it

Not sure why you assumed I didn't already know that (I did), but thanks for the completely pointless off topic essay I guess

The lowest hanging fruit here is probably Mexico
It's a pretty solid "good" or "good+" on the scale of bad-meh-ok-good-great-amazing
Worse than e.g. The Studio, Ted Lasso, better than most of the 1 season forgettable comedies

7b of the AGPL specifically allows additional terms to be added to the license as it pertains to preserving attribution or legal notices.

This explanation is a really terrible explanation - it doesn't even explain the point of the study or what multiple comparisons are in statistics...
