SailfishOS's underlying system and applications are open source.
Jolla has a proprietary UI and android compatibility layer they run on top of it.
The UI can be replaced with open source community ones.
Its similar to Android in its open source nature.
You are confusing products. Fairphone is a cell phone and company name.
Fairbuds XL are the headphones. I have a set, they are great for listening to music and comfortable. But the cushioning does soak up sweat.
I have been thinking of ordering the Fairbuds for when I do yard work because I don't like cleaning the sweat out of the soft fabrics on the XLs. The Fairbuds have multiple sizes for the ear tip because one size doesn't fit all.
They are, but they are treated differently. Through a bunch of racist decisions the supreme court allows them to be treated differently. They felt that the people of the territories weren't civilized enough to participate in our democracy. They're called the Insular Cases and very racist.
Congress eventually passed laws granting citizenship to people in the territories, except American Samoa.
The 14th applying to the territories has been ignored repeatedly by the courts.
They can do it in the territories. The ones that grant citizenship by birth were giving that through Congress passing laws for it. American Somoa does not grant citizenship by birth, instead its people are U.S. Nationals, but not citizens.
Yeah, my work computer I uninstalled the UWP Notepad by right clicking it in start menu and choosing uninstall. Then when I open Notepad from search or run it opens the old Notepad instead.
Hammond wasn't Nedry's boss, he was Nedry's customer.
Nedry ran a software company that developed the software running the park.
Nedry bid low to get the job, then Hammond kept adding on to the requirements, making it too expensive for Nedry's company to keep doing. Nedry cut a deal with Hammond's competitors to keep his company from going under and to pay his employees.
He didn't live on the island for 5 years. He was on the island to finish up so Hammond would pay what he owed, and to steal the embryos.
For a phone that is toted as being privacy respecting, its fucked they are preinstalling software from one of the worst privacy invading companies on the planet.
I use Microsoft 3D Builder for most of my modeling stuff.
Mainly for things like hardware type stuff.
Or simple modifications to existing models if I need.
It has a simple interface, really easy to use.
Builds models from simple shapes, no needing to learn a programming language or weird clunky interfaces.
Isaac Asimov's robots were hardware based systems built using positronics. Each robot had a unique positronic brain that implemented its basic programming in hardware. They were designed to mimic a human brain.
What "AI" tools we have now are glorified grammar checkers that can't understand what its spouting. Comparing them to Asimov's robots is like comparing a toddler's drawing of a car to a royals royce fully loaded with every option.
My wife and I both have A770 16GB cards in our gaming systems.
Have yet to play something it couldn't handle.
I put money down on a Slate. It was the closest to what I wanted; a simple, no bs, light duty truck that's electric.
Their site puts it at just a little bigger than 1980's Toyota pick-up.
Oh look, Ford is making another shit UV with a pretend bed, so innovative.
Will start at $30k with the mandatory fees, before the dealers "value add" it another $15k.
My 2006 Ranger is the last Ford I will ever own.

Love my Redragon keyboards. Affordable, good quality hardware, works well for our gaming.

It would end up probably like American Samoa, which its people are U.S. Nationals, not citizens.

Nothing wrong with having hobbies. They give us lots of interesting things.
I just uninstalled the UWP Notepad and use the old one. But I guess some people need hobbies.

Disappointing
I am excited to see where they're going with it. One scene in the trailer, if you pause it, shows they're also bringing in members of Generation X.
That seems like a completely normal amount of medical specialsts needed for a routine checkup.
/s btw

Go to Adult Education and finish your credits needed to get highschool diploma.
Not in our life times.
