If a game is so old, it struggles to run on modern hardware, it's an old game to me. I didn't say it was "retro".
For your traditional RTS I probably have to go with Dawn of War.
But if we're also including grand strategy RTS it's Stellaris. It's insane how much content there is for this game. It's the be-all end-all of "space games". If you can think of any sci-fi trope at all, there's content for it in stellaris.

There is no gatekeeping here. You don't need to pass a bar, there's no list of movies you need to watch or a fursona you need to have. It's just a lot of people who enjoy funny animal characters.
I mean I wouldn't consider it a bad thing if only english language posts are allowed here but if this hinders people who didn't select english as their own language from posting, then I don't want that. Ideally you could select more than one language on your profile if you're multilingual or be able to change the language setting of your posts manually to match the community.

In fact, you can't even properly run it on modern PCs. You have to patch it to hell or use the GOG version.
