I think we can find some lines though. We aren’t talking about political disagreements on the marginal tax rates or how to fund schools.

We are talking about donations to a political party calling for ethnic cleansing.

Switching to Apple with advanced data protection and HomeKit has been great for my big family. Way fewer tech support calls for me.

It was the most feasible option in the end. If it were just me, and I wasn’t raising kids and supporting aging parents, and working 50 hour work weeks, then I’d do graphene and home assistant. I’m just at a point that I want as much privacy as I can get for the least amount of maintenance.

That’s why I use the garbage. I was talked into it by my lunch group at work, who are sysadmin types, who switched for similar reasons.

It’s Karl Popper’s tolerance paradox. To answer your question, yes I am in support of discrimination against anyone using their salary to fund over half the annual budget of a white nationalist political party.

He is providing that political party with over half of its income if I recall correctly.

If Mullvad’s janitor were someone doing that and Mullvad refused to terminate them, I’d quit Mullvad.

The content of my remark presupposes that you read the linked material. It explains clearly the scope of each court and how cases are brought before them.

Israel ratified the Genocide Convention in 1950, which contains Article IX: any dispute about the Convention “shall be submitted to the ICJ at the request of any of the parties.” By ratifying it without reservation, Israel already consented, decades ago, that any other state party could bring exactly this kind of case against it.

These are not 2 parallel courts. The ICC isn’t performing the ICJ’s duties under better control of “the west”.

The scope of the courts are different, each seems necessary to me.

ICJ settles disputes between CONSENTING parties.

ICC prosecutes crimes.

No wonder the Trump administration wants the ICC destroyed. They reasonably suspect they or their allies could appear before it one day.

He is free to use his Mullvad salary to fund Nazi types. That was never the question.

The question is do you want to help generate his salary for him by doing business with Mullvad? You’re free to do that. I won’t give this company another penny.

It can be so hard to be principled in the modern day. However, since there are readily available VPN providers who aren’t owned by people funding Nazis, this isn’t a hard call to make.

There was actually some recent improvement with that. It isn’t perfect in all places yet, but even if I have to click into the browser extension, it feels quick.
