I didn't mean to misrepresent the situation. She inputs all the material herself but uses copilot to format the worksheet, including the addition of emojis and clip art, and AI generated images all over the online class forum. She's very involved with the students' work and is a fountain of knowledge during classes, which makes her completely unnecessary use of AI so terribly confusing.
I'm an adult taking night classes at my local community college. I have two instructors (neither is technically a professor). One is my age, and she begs us not to use AI, as some of my classmates openly talk about using it. My other instructor is in her 60s and all of her assignments have little notes under the header that say "this worksheet was generated by copilot". It's baffling. My feedback at the end of the semester is always "this class was great, but I wish the assignments didn't use AI".
Yes of course, all of these responses are great points and I fully agree. I was being cynical and making commentary about how those labels started showing up when gluten free started being a trend, when people were treating it more like a fad diet with "cheat days" rather than a serious medical situation. But it is wild how uninformative food labels are. I've been vegetarian for 23 years and I'm well aware of how often animal products turn up somewhere unexpected.
It's like when oatmeal or potato chips are labeled as gluten free. Of course they are, there's no gluten in oats or potatoes, but gluten free is good marketing.
There was a website i used in college (2010s) called "Written? Kitten!". Every 100 words of writing in the text box on the left side of the screen would earn a new picture of a kitten on the right side of the screen. Hand to god that website saved my ADHD ass, I wrote a 10 page paper in 3 hours, 100 words/1 kitten/1 dopamine hit at a time. If a teacher had ever looked at my edit history, it would probably look very odd because it would be in 100 and 200 word block chunks for the whole thing.
If my father's sister outlives him, I will not allow her to come to his funeral. I might even spit in her stupid bitch face. If she dies first, I will not attend hers, even if he begs me to, but I'll go piss on her grave while the dirt is fresh.
I'm guessing the people in this thread calling similar feelings "petty" or "insane" just don't have the same level of trauma.
My father would want his sister at his funeral, and wants us to reconcile. I know she will behave selfishly and be rude to/about my mother, and I will not tolerate it, and therefore will not honor his wishes. I support you and your mother in not allowing your father's sisters to attend, however you just need to be aware that the optics will be bad and people will talk shit. But it won't matter, b/c I'm assuming you're like me and the only reason you even acknowledge your aunts exist is for your father's sake. Once he's passed, you have every right to tell them to fuck right the fuck off.
Love you. Wishing you and your family (the family of your choice!) ease and softness.
I want construction to stop and I don't want my taxes to get used to fix it. I don't care about the "historic east wing" that was demolished. I don't care if tourists or rich politicians have an eyesore. Put a tarp over it, fill a pothole, fix a bridge, feed some kids. I want healthcare. I want this to be a permanent scar on the Whitehouse. Not one dime of public money can go towards fixing it until everyone has a roof over their head and a full belly.
I'm beyond wishing for justice. Why won't he just drop fucking dead. It would almost be justice if he died from a temper tantrum induced heart attack.
I think about this all the time. If he just built electrified trains everywhere in the world and ended world hunger, I wouldn't even bat an eye if he also wanted to start a weird sex cult (with consenting adults). Chute dude, i'd probably sign up to incubate one of his sons.
Because you're an earthling, just like all of us, and LMs are threatening earth, and it is your duty to not use them, especially not for stupid memes. You must stop using LMs on your own computer or anywhere. I am telling you that as your sister on this planet that we both inhabit.
Interesting. Thank you for googling for me, I guess I could have done that. I'll probably google a bit more and maybe add the info here just for infos sake, because this seems to be referring just to ab- and I'm ab+
Personally, I've never been pregnant, but it sounds like the antibodies might still be present even before pregnancy.
The bloodmobile/bank where i donate is ALWAYS desperate for blood, and I've never read or heard anything about this exclusion in my 17 years of donating, the only time I've ever been turned away is for low iron.
What is different about AB type from females? That describes me and I've almost earned my 2 gallon pin, the ladies in the blood mobile are always happy to see me.
Others have given much more thorough responses, but I truly think the gist of it is that women like Jenny McCarthy and other anti vax moms hate their autistic kids and need someone to blame. The autistic child goes against their perfect "American dream" lifestyle and makes them feel embarrassment and shame.
I did say I thought they were all wonderful. Enjoyed them all. Odysseus was too loud in the theatre and i wish it had had an intermission so i could have peed, and i could have done with less violence, but it was a great story. I forgot I also "saw" Babylon in theaters. I fell asleep right away and woke up a few times but have no idea what it was about. I've never heard of Obsession and am not really interested. I wasn't interested in Odysseus, just went because a group of friends had a spare ticket and i wanted to hang out with them. Did not realize it was three hours long. Figured I'd fall asleep, but I didn't!
On a side note, it kind of feels like zendaya and Anne Hathaway are the only two actresses in the world right now. There were two movie trailers with them as stars before the feature film in which they played major roles. They are both so lovely, but I am fatigued and there are so many other talented people ! This is another reason I don't like movies. It's harder and harder to enjoy the characters instead of just seeing "Anne Hathaway again, but in a different outfit" or "zendaya the goddess/space princess/spiderman/junkie"
ETA I saw Here the tom hanks movie at my house and it was maybe one of the most interesting and enjoyable movies I've ever seen. I got to pause it to pee, I got to smoke weed, I got to cook good food to eat while I watched it, I got to cozy up on my couch w my cat, I got to rewind if I didn't understand a part or missed something. I got to adjust the volume. 10/10 viewing experience. No part of it would have been made better by having the screen be big.
I consider myself a bellwether of if a movie is going to be popular (not necessarily good, but popular), because I do not enjoy the cinematic experience. It's boring, it's too loud, the food sucks, the seats suck, I can't pee, I can't smoke.
I just saw Odyssey in theaters. The last movie I saw in theaters was Barbie. And before that, Everything Everywhere All at Once. All of these were hugely successfull and popular, and imo they were all wonderful movies , which I think means a lot coming from me because i hate movies. I don't say this in a pretentious way but in fact, quite the opposite. If a movie appeals to me, it has appealed to the widest possible audience, and is probably a pretty good movie.

I think it means "count" like "18 ct" means "18 count" means there are 18 cookies in the package

This is my favorite gif to send to my gf when she sends me a spicy pic. Unsurprisingly, it shows up if you search for "wolf whistle" :)
I boycotted them for 15, but now I can't afford to shop anywhere else. I have never used Amazon tho.
the Hey Arnold! episode where they go see the opera Carmen lives rent free in my head.

Fascinating, cool to know, thank you. I will ask about it next time i donate.

In fact, you are too young to realize it's a 20 year old joke.
