If you already have a light switch there for other reasons you could use something like the zoo zen32 scene controller switch. It is a z-wave switch for the circuit you install it on but adds 4 additional buttons. You would use those buttons to trigger automation or set a scene.

I looked through the GitHub details and it talks about connecting the thermostat via USB to flash it. I really only have Chromebooks at home and I'm not sure how well that would work on Linux container.

Hmm, I confirmed cloudflare module with "caddy list-modules" and see:

dns.providers.cloudflare

But when I do a reload I get "Error: adapting config using caddyfile: Caddyfile:12: unrecognized global option: acme_dms"
