Gee, 3/4 of the political compass are authoritarian scumbags? Almost as if it's a shit metric designed by authoritarian scumbags for jerking each other off about owning the libs.
People are trying to around here... though they're like "ban leaf blowers cough cough I mean ban gas powered leaf blowers electric ones are fine I would never question our leaf blower overlords."
Mower, fine. Weed eater, fine but you better not be using a plastic spool. Leaf blower........ what good are they? It's easy to rake up leaves. Getting them in bags is what's hard. The vibration from the leaf blower would do more damage to your joints than raking. Leaf blowers don't do anything else! There is no purpose do them! WHY ARE THEY A THING AAAAA
I don't know about "better" but it will surely be useful IF people around here mention it. I think it boosts posts that mention it and doesn't follow anyone. Dunno what I was thinking there.
Oh, we could make the game demolition themed. Like you start in some city, and have to take down all the buildings and revivify the soil, remove toxic waste. Maybe like Simcity except in reverse, where you take a sprawling paved hellscape and turn it into compact multistory public apartments surrounded by happiness and greenery.
Like, you get the big corporation to close and move out, and as your city sinks into economic depression, everything starts getting better (if poorer). Or even big cities split up into smaller more manageable towns and villages.
It does sound lovely, but many games are hard for me to play. Gaming is really political and cutthroat under the table, even for cutesy farming games. I don't have a phone, or a computer for playing games. Or money to buy one.
Not to say you shouldn't do it, but... not sure I could participate. Might depend on the game!
Wulfy... saying someone cannot be right because they haven't agreed with you yet is an appeal to authority. People might be wrong, but they don't have to adopt AI in order to have an informed opinion.
If you're asking me how to design a prompt for a particular AI, then I don't know a single thing about it. If you're asking me whether AI is a good idea or not, I can be more sure of that answer. Feel free to prove me wrong, but don't say my opinion doesn't matter.
Have you seen the data centers being built just north of your house? No? Well it doesn't matter you still might have a point!
Like many abuse victims, they apologize and don't even see how bad it is. I see... things are... bad on all fronts. We need right to repair, and abolish trademark and copyright, and idea patents. And friends near us.
Linux ain't the problem there. Usability is more of that nonsense thought up by corporations to scare people. Computers are tricky, whether Windows or Linux, and the only reason Windows is more popular is they've been installing it on people's computers without asking for decades. Honestly most people don't even have computers these days. All they get to have is a phone.
Under classical logic, a paradox is a result of faulty premises, and proof that the premises cannot be true. It's how you make any logical proof, by assuming the null hypothesis, and showing how it implies A and ¬A. It's true for the liar's paradox, and for Russell's paradox (sorry Russell).
So my conclusion is "This sentence is false" is false. If it was true, then the sentence would be both true and not true. By the contrapositive, "This sentence is false" cannot be true, and cannot be a logical premise.
Put it in their profile. Seriously that's it. You can use a profile metadata field if you want to be formal about it.
Why would you need a history of what keys were whose?

Oh right, I saw that but never got around to following it. I will, if I can! @pdxfedi@fedigroups.social seems to be what follows everyone, right?
Is anyone in the western Hillsboro area, who wants to meet up and tell each other about their lives? I could really do to keep up to date with people.
