That is true. Unfortunately also true is companies not hiring juniors anymore because AI does their jobs. The companies somehow believe seniors grow on trees or something.
I for one welcome that change. Let them sloppify their brains once the rug is pulled and token cost skyrockets (or AI isn't able to fix its own fuckups) the human developer will rise again.
In general yes, but if you claim a glasshole recorded you without consent and want to sue them, it's on you to fund that legal battle. I doubt collectives are interested in individual cases.
Technically there would be network booting. I think it was intended to work over the local network but I don't see why TFTP wouldn't work over the Internet (when skimming the Wikipedia article). But be warned, TFTP (and thus netboot) has no security features, so you could receive a manipulated PXE (pre boot execution environment).
Is that a forced constant with the fandom? :D We got such person as well (minus the Jax outfit). I'm not sure if they were trans or crossdressing (didn't want to stare, listen into their conversation) but definitely a show of courage to go out like that in this conservative part of the country. They got ugly comments outside but the folk in the theatre were nice to them.
The movie was definitely great and also the crowd in the cinema was special. People wore light cosplay (granted a pomni-style hat would be a bit impractical for a movie showing) and openly discussed mental health and medication (a topic usually reserved for close family and closest friends maybe). The theatre was filled with true, pleasant anticipation; if it were a single person, I would describe it as giddy-happy. You could feel everyone was truly looking forward to the show starting.
It never felt like this with other movies I caught the opening night.
So yeah, thanks Gooseworks (and all the other people involved) for making this possible.
No, your controls are cursed! It stands for "Pretty Lame Computer"
::: spoiler Context There is a YouTube channel called cursed controls which calls them that. :::
Not the absolute answer you look for but my phone's cover is held shut by a magnet.
What was the true purpose of the machine the fish goes into again?

Basically this. If the starving gets to intense, switching professions it will be.

Jokes on them, I always round up to the next full dollar mentally.

Just break the law and hope the other side is too poor to sue. Basically like everywhere else on the planet.
I can almost hear the grinding noise this will make when you step on it inside the house. Or the nasty feeling of salt in your socks.
There is "out there", "bat-shit crazy" and.... This.
Playing your fav game for the fourth to eight time? Those are rookie numbers!
That is not the kind of Network boot I meant, they ride on the name for the standard IMHO

Now he is pushing it.
I hoped for some salvation at the end but life is not fair.

Hate it when that happens. You wipe, get up, want to flush and - aw shit - see the poop is gone.
The way Nermal landed and just remaining upside down :D
