on Weekly Random Thread #2 09-01-2024 · c/localtesting · 2 pts · 2yJust on an intense project implementing a kubernetes hosted application at scale... and had some health issues come up. All sorted now. I'm going to add some unit tests to this project and some alerts.... and possibly a second maintainer so this doesn't happen again. Sorry for the delay!
on Weekly Random Thread #2 09-01-2024 · c/localtesting · 4 pts · 2ySorry for the delay (had a few things going on at this end). I've updated the version and added a release. Cheers for the PR. https://github.com/dfrencham/lemmy-post-bot/releases/tag/v1.2.1
on Turkey's Erdogan calls on Israel to stop attacks on Gaza 'amounting to genocide' · c/world · 3 pts · 2yI understand that, but how are Israel supposed to get their hostages back?
on Turkey's Erdogan calls on Israel to stop attacks on Gaza 'amounting to genocide' · c/world · 1 pts · 2yWhy would Israel stop while there are still hostages?
on Sorry for the inconvenience · c/memes · 10 pts · 2yHere in Australia no one has "poop knives". American plumbing is a sad joke. Most Aussies don't even own a plunger.
on Who actually wants the Olympics? · c/brisbane · 7 pts · 2yI don't. Waste of money. Brisbane has enough housing and transport issues already.
on The offensive reason you can’t shop at night · c/brisbane · 3 pts · 3yIt may be easy to work around, but I don't think it needs to be enshrined in law.
on The offensive reason you can’t shop at night · c/brisbane · 2 pts · 3yIt seems backwards to restrict hours like this. Not being able to sell alcohol at supermarkets is pretty backwards as well.

on People who chop and change lanes constantly: Why tho? · c/brisbane · 2 pts · 3yI've had less of those lately, and more who drive under the limit by 20km. Back streets near home, 30kph. Main road with a 60 limit.... 40kph. Why. WHY.
on Daily Discussion Thread - Sun Jul 16 2023 · c/brisbane · 3 pts · 3yI wonder how we can gain more traction for our community? Melbourne has heaps of discussion. Thoughts?
on Daily Discussion Thread - Thu Jul 13 2023 · c/brisbane · 1 pts · 3yI updated the icon instead of the banner, whoops. Anyway, I hope you all like our banner + replacement bin chicken....
on TIL that 80% of Australian homes are colder than is recommended by the WHO safety standards for indoor air temperature. · c/australia · 13 pts · 3yI'm not exactly shocked. Even here in Brisbane it can be freezing in winter. Australian housing is rubbish.
