Wouldn't the loss of retina function also have a reduction in color vision which would result in a loss of clarity of certain color wavelengths so eg you'd go from seeing a 32 color crayola spectrM to a 24, then 16, etc resulting in an increase in percieved contrast? Just spitballing here.
So first there are some mods who do not want to leave, and are going to do their best to keep it operating, but the bigger thing is reddit will not let us do that, they are forcibly taking control of subs that are doing things like going nsfw, private, or restricted by removing the mod team and placing their own.
Yeah I do not use my computer near enough and mainly just use my phone with either braille screen input or my display. I switch between a few voices but not often.
So if you're talking about the warning message thing that appears that's just there by default for no apparent reason and means nothing. I believe we a request in to have that hidden or it will be dealt with some other way.
I mean it works on android, just has some odd issues with certain browsers and the strange things regarding nested comments and post vote tally not appearing unless you're on desktop view.
I’m just baffled as to why it's an issue on Opera and the like which are chromium based like Chrome and Edge, I get it on Firefox as that's a different architecture so makes sense it might have some different issues from those others.
Will also add on android devices you cannot log in with talkback running on Firefox, Opera, or Duck Duck Go browsers as the login button will not activate. I have to test this again on Brave, but I know this is not an issue on Chrome or Edge.
Logged back inhere, so that's something, maybe will try this more.
Oh also US rules for signage is to use contracted in general.
Just replying from Sync for Lemmy to see how this works, cannot create posts yet for reasons I guess.
So I cannot even read the article because the site has aggressive popups, unlabeled elements, and something repeatedly resetting my focus to the top.
