You can flash one of the esp-idf example images to an ESP32-C6 and plug it into your HA server to turn it into a Thread Border Router for under $10. Everything on Thread uses a fully local encrypted mesh network that by default has no Internet access (leave NAT64 turned off in the HA border router add-on).

Amazon has to keep a way for owners of old devices to be able to download books in a format the devices can read, and the DRM is trivial to remove from those files. By obsoleting them, they close the loophole and can only offer downloads that are harder to crack.

Queer people have to deal with a lot of entitled, judgemental people (particularly those willing to date cishet men). You can only encounter so many people who think themselves better than you or who exhibit traits like toxic masculinity or prejudicial beliefs before becoming jaded.
It's not necessarily you, it's all the shitty people that came before you that set the bar so low that it's underground. You need to show you're at least better than that abysmally low standard before someone's likely to open up to you.
How long ago? Before Match Group decided to make all of their products the same, OKC used to have an amazing algorithm that matched based on quiz answers. At some point, they scrapped all of that and turned it into another Tinder where quiz answers were deemphasized and swiping based on first profile picture is the main interaction method. All of their dating apps now use the same algorithm, which as many people have said, is tuned to keep you using the platform as long as possible, not provide you with high quality matches.
The problem is that in the US, most tax deductions are concurrent with the standard deduction. So even if (for example) you donate $10k to a charity, the fact that it's tax deductible is meaningless unless your total deductions are more than $16,100 (or more if married or head of household). It's yet another way that tax deductions favor the rich - past a certain tax bracket, it makes sense to donate to a charity (that you control) to lower your taxes; for random Joe Peasant, it's completely pointless.
Sadly this doesn't hold true for red states. I've seen multiple people putting their children at risk by ferrying them around in a vehicle that makes the Ford Pinto look safe.
Particularly in countries that allow employers to force arbitration clauses on employees. You don't get a jury, you get an "impartial" arbitrator paid for by the company.
The term being a creation of white people is a common but mistaken belief. Latinx is a gender neutral version of Latino/Latina created by English-speaking queer Latinx people in the early 2000s who hated that the inherent gender binary in the Spanish language couldn't properly represent Latinx people who didn't identify as Latinos or Latinas. It's since become an inclusive catch-all term for the entire community, regardless of gender identity.
Also, I don't know if you're intending it to come off that way, but your reaction to the term is a very common one among homophobic Latinos.
What sucks even more is UPS and FedEx don't want to deliver to those areas either. If you try to get a package delivered through one of them, they'll hand it off to USPS for "last mile delivery", and USPS will happily stamp it as undeliverable and return to sender / trash it.
If you want to print in ASA, you're going to want an enclosed model. I recently bought a Qidi Q2 after going through the same frustration with my old Ender 3. My main selling points on it were that it was capable of handling stuff like ABS and ASA, and most importantly, gave me full control of the device. Unlike Bambu, I have the root password to the controller board (which runs Klipper), and the (admittedly mediocre) AI spaghetti detection runs fully locally. It also has a carbon filter built in, which is a must if you intend to put the printer anywhere indoors and print in something other than PLA or PETG.
Unfortunately, there's still hoops to jump through to be a foster parent, many of which are subjective assessments. It's really easy for shitty people to pretend to be whatever the assessment person is looking for when they're motivated by money and lack morals. It's a lot harder when you make an effort to be genuine and the assessment person doesn't like some way in which you don't match the mold they're wanting. I know a couple who tried to jump through the hoops to adopt a 16yo queer kid. Amazing parents. The person who interviewed them was very conservative Christian and didn't like that they planned to respect the kid's identity. Needless to say, they didn't get approved as foster parents.
They also work great for getting PETG prints to release from PEI build plates. Flip the can upside down, spray at the back of the sheet where the print is until it forms a thin layer of frost. Wait until the frost disappears (really you're waiting for the metal to contract, but you won't see that), bend the plate, and the part should pop right off.
...then flee to somewhere better ventilated to escape the cloud of bitterant before you vomit.
