I get you. I actually tried to rock it on a table yesterday and it seemed to not rock at all. But given the incompatibility with the motherboard I bought a new one just to be perfectly safe.
Well i tried it and the heatsink doesn't fit as it is missing the rifht adapters. I at least salvaged the fan and bought a new heat sink. I've updated the post. Thanks for your comment.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I tried to installed to see how well it fits and found out the heat sink is missing adapters for my board so it can't be attached.
I ordered a new one immediately after that.

I haven't tried to install it yet, but the pad itself looks intact and from the looks of it I suppose the contact will be ok and the tower will be tilted.
Today I'll probably try to install it so I'll let you know.
