We're literally seeing an entire era and industry collapsing, jobs being stolen from people and huge negative economical impacts, just for the sake of AI.

We're living in a world where AI has caused way more problems and economic instability than before.
It's fair to say AI has made the world a considerably worse place than it was prior. It's impacting jobs, supply, replacing thinking with using a chatbot for absolutely everything. If it was up to me, I'd rather have no AI and go back to what we had before than it just completely ruining every industry it touches (which is nearly all of them).
