Maybe at the time you most need it, you'd want it to be as readily as possible. May I suggest a thin plastic layer to open the circuit rather than having the batteries out?
I've found myself in a similar situation. I thought it was due to jellyfin being behind a nginx reverse proxy, so I followed the docs in order to allow websockets to work, but either I did it wrong or the issue is something else. I'll keep an eye on the post just in case someone knows the solution :)
I just did yesterday and I think it nails all my needs. Also the author seems to be nice and helpful

Yeah, I've seen this sometimes, which lead me to create a osm account and improve coverage around my zone.
OSM is a collaborative effort done by volunteers, so it might not be perfect in some places.

That's on my todo list. So far backing up several machines, including some from my family.
