Gonna be a brutal end to the season for the teams

I know a few teams gave personnel the time off in April with the warning there could be a tougher spell later in the season

Baku to Malaysia to Singapore (for a Sprint) will now kick off three triple-headers in a row, and a provisional nine races in 11 weeks to end the year

From their FAQ:

Most of our products are manufactured in Spain, where product design, quality control, and a significant part of our production take place.

Some of our stainless steel bottles and other products are manufactured in specialised facilities in other countries, all operating under our strict quality and traceability standards. In every case, product development, technical supervision, and quality control are managed directly by LAKEN.

Pretty small changes

From April 6, 2026, paternity leave and unpaid parental leave became day-one rights, removing longstanding service qualifying periods that had disproportionately excluded parents in newer or more precarious employment. A new entitlement for bereaved parents who lose their partner within the first year of their child’s birth provides up to 52 weeks of unpaid leave, addressing a significant gap in statutory provision for surviving partners.

Statutory maternity and paternity pay has risen from £187.18 to just £194.32 a week, barely keeping pace with inflation.

Other proposed changes have also passed, including making stricter the rules for presidential candidates.

A requirement for candidates to "demonstrate sufficient experience within an FIA member or an FIA body" has been added.

And the time by which prospective presidential candidates have to submit the list detailing their support team of vice-presidents has more than doubled from 49 days to 100 days before the date of the election.

Both would make it more difficult for someone to challenge Ben Sulayem at a subsequent election.
