on Looking for a free speech instance · c/fediverse · 1 pts · 2y It’s not hate speech though based on the legal description in Canada. I never mentioned canada or any laws. Do you think it should be considered hate speech?

on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 2 pts · 2yEverything about it was above board, but useful idiots don't like acknowledging how they're being taken advantage of. I see it all the time because it's the norm.
on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 0 pts · 2yIt's a shame because there were literally no issues before this. They only did it because they, personally, do not like piracy. I see it all the time among useful idiots. They just can't stand accepting that they're being taken for a ride.
on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 10 pts · 2yYeah. They're liars. Everyone should jump ship sooner rather than later. There are clear bad actors on the admin team. There is no hope for lemmy.world.
on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 2 pts · 2yIt was good at first, but it's clear corporate interests have infested the admin team. I don't have any hope for it now and just encourage other people to move to different instances. I just moved to lemmy.ca in response to this. This is the glory of federation, after all. Don't give abusers power!
on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 0 pts · 2yAbsolutely. It's clear lemmy.world has been infiltrated by bad actors with an agenda. We cannot trust them. They are not here for us. All they do is serve their agenda, which in this case is looking out for corporations. I've also seen a ton of censorship surrounding Israel. People literally getting banned for comparing Israel to Nazi Germany. It's not looking good.
on Piracy related communities removal · c/support · 19 pts · 2yAwful decision, but I just moved to lemmy.ca because of it. Censorship is a bad thing. Let users control what they want to see instead of corporate overlords and their useful idiots. I encourage everyone to get off of lemmy.world as quickly as possible.
on Vietnam seeks death for tycoon in $12bn fraud case · c/world · -21 pts · 2yNo. Why would you think that? I'm curious where he's getting his information from, though. He seemed so confident about it until I pressed him on sources. That usually means he's talking out of his ass.
on Is there a list of 'general' Lemmy servers? · c/asklemmy · -2 pts · 2yI've honestly thought about it, but I'd prefer to join an instance that connects to as much of the fediverse as possible. It's sad we have to do this roundabout "join instance C because instances A and B block each other," but that's what corporate cuckery gets us. I have no respect or trust for the lemmy.world admins after this.
on Lemmy.world seems to have banned the largest piracy community on Lemmy. · c/fediverse · -2 pts · 2yThanks for the recommendation! I'm no fediverse expert, so more information is always good!
