Thanks for clarifying - I understand your position a bit better.
I'm willing to chalk up that detail in rockSlayers post as an aspirational, semantic slip delivered in the heat of the moment. Racists aren't ever going to completely disappear - that sort of toxic mindset has been with the species for as long as we've been around.
Keeping them contained and at bay is important though - and a big part of it is ensuring a sense of accountability remains present in the zeitgeist.
As mentioned in a separate response, reparations aren't a standalone cureall - expecting them to operate as such is myopic.
Additionally, responding to cultural injustices on the nazis terms is not a good idea. Going on the backfoot emboldens them further, and leaves the current generation believing accountability has limited range.
An unwillingness to engage with or even acknowledge crimes and reprehensible action committed by colonizers at a societal level is a red flag. Reparations aren't meant to be a silver bullet against white power propaganda - just one of many steps needed to mitigate its spread over time.
Theres a lot of toxicity there. Been punched in the head, throat, kicked in the back (lol), spat on, had slurs screamed my way, and hit by cars (yes, plural).
But hpx, what’d you do to provoke all this?
Nothing, friend. I’m quiet, polite in interactions, keep my yap shut and mind my own business. Every single one of these happened out the blue with little to no input my end. Each left me more flabbergasted than the last.
Some I actually get - unhoused or mentally compromised folk lashing out at unlucky targets. But others had more malice - the pack of skinheads looking for a fight or drivers who felt inconvenienced because they had to stop at crosswalks.
But hey, least it ain’t Calgary. Fuuuuck that place.
Blender and resolve are terrific. Gimp is a bit of a running joke for veterans in the industry - the UX is a comical mess.
Personally steer well clear of Maxon and Canva. Maxon on account of the rubbish pricing, piss poor UX/UI, and invasive telemetry. Canva for AI stance, telemetry, and their having the option to monetize should they ever feel like it after having locked in a large enough user base. Which absolutely will happen over a long enough period given predatory, for profit SaaS trends.
Penpot is an alright Canva substitute for the time being, least for my needs which are reasonably complex. Haven’t had much luck finding a good foss alternative to after effects though.
Not disputing the effectiveness or access regarding guns, but a significant portion of altercations at protests are cqc. Tides can change quickly in these situations, especially with mobs and the chaos they bring. Knowing how to handle yourself in these situations isn't entirely useless.
Either way, the fact they appear to be increasingly committed and organized around inflicting violence is a pretty clear signal on future intent. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst, I suppose.
Mars Express was a well made sci-fi thriller.
Thats what makes this an A tier shitpost.
I'm willing to concede I have it wrong but I wouldn't take it seriously. Just Karmanopoly goofing around with quality bait.
If you headshot them with a piss squirt, it’s possible they’d try to take their mask off.
Not really sure how the gloves work - there a chance they end up shocking themselves?
Didn't have bibi punking mango mussolini into hiding in a food cart on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are.
Roughest bit about this is I remember nodding morosely to it 10 years ago.
Por qué no los dos? 😎
Frankly id just like to know what your beef with squirrels is
Belligerents: USA, Algae

This is an uninformed, cynical perspective on what reparations are:
Here's a breakdown on what the term means, according to Amnesty International
An unwillingness to engage with or even acknowledge crimes and reprehensible action committed by colonizers at a societal level is a red flag. Reparations aren't meant to be a silver bullet against white power propaganda - just one of many steps needed to mitigate its spread over time.
Sounds about right.
Ford himself is a bloated, oaty turd steeped in corruption and classic conservative idiocy. These two chodes pretending to get along isn't surprising.
Spent 30 odd years in TO.
