I don’t understand. Explain why this bad, it’s a genuine question.

The tone of the post and the comments make it seem pretty negative. I’m more wondering why it’s a bad thing I guess.

This feels like it flies in the face of a pledge like that. I know they can try to weasel out of it by saying well it doesn’t have actual weapons on it or whatever. But I would say this violates the intent of the pledge.

Can they say no?

The engineers that work there don’t seem like the type of people who would support this. Am I wrong about that?

Work laptop. I use it when I’m sharing my screen and we’re discussing a map or drawing of something. Pretty useful. Especially the pinch zoom function when whatever app I’m using doesn’t have an intuitive zoom function.

Not work laptop. If I’m reading an article on the couch sometimes I’ll scroll down using the touch screen.
