Interesting that you can use BT for this. I have a spare googled phone for stuff that doesn't work on graphene that I don't feel like troubleshooting for more than a few hours that I used to add an aqara deadbolt.

Honestly, after all the troubleshooting with matter (I didn't have ipv6 prior and didn't really see a need internally for it) I wish I had gone with a different deadbolt as it was the first matter device and currently still only one.

Just curious, relooking at these. I don't see anywhere on the page about the battery low notification, any idea if it's a unifi notification or chirp like the ones that come standard in homes? Just in case they come out with hardwired ones in the future.

Agreed, you'd think they would've had both options at launch. Sometimes they make weird decisions though. like going POE only on their latest doorbell options, that's not something I need hardwired, I just use it for package/people notifications.

Thanks for the UL link, I was looking for some way to search for those briefly.
Edit: I didn't see the XP0J-SA listed in any of those unfortunately

this part from their website is for the MS-1 interlink product page, so I think those are still battery only unfortunately.

Power Built-in 7-year detection battery + replaceable CR123A module battery

I did briefly look at these, from what I can tell these are still battery only correct?

From their webpage: Power Built-in 7-year detection battery + replaceable CR123A module battery

The reviews of the official replacement (FA SC-5) are mixed to awful. Yeah, I think I had heard/read that, they're not really in my list at the moment.

Interesting, that would solve half my problem. I wonder how well that works in direct/indirect sunlight. Thanks for the link!

At some point that TV plex app will stop working, just fyi. And you can get a 4k google tv box for about $25 at walmart, yes I realize that $25 is $25 you didn't have to spend previously, just pointing out this argument doesn't really make sense if you actually want to use jellyfin.

Danny devito is the actor from taxi, but the guy I like is from always sunny in philadelphias. (I had to rewatch this scene to get the wording correctly). agreed its one of my favorite scenes as well.

I'm just wondering how they'll do the "who wants cream?" joke the third time. It doesn't matter, I will laugh. I may have to rewatch again..
